  1. This is the kind of game that gives me agita. We've put together a pretty good month of May. Let's not ruin it now. Yes, the schedule has gotten a little tougher, but still
  2. If there's anything going for us in that series, it's the pitching matchups. I like the draw all 4 days, even Price on Sunday night in his house of horrors
  3. I didn't expect a World Series from the start of Spring Training. There was a very very slim chance we would repeat, as the numbers are just not in our favor. But, that doesn't mean watching/playing the game can't be fun. They're fine. Everything's fine.
  4. Been wayyy more than two, but I completely agree. No better mess me up, or there'll be a problem
  5. It would be a perfect lineup if Benintendi and Betts were flipped, but that's a lost cause at this point
  6. I can guarantee it. The Chiefs got upset when Mahomes was seen playing pick up basketball over the winter. Too risky nowadays, especially as you increase in value to your team
  7. RHP Shane "Not Justin" Bieber (3-2, 3.11) vs RHP Ryan Weber (1-0, 1.29) Note the 6:10 start, which was done to accommodate the Bruins. Throwback to when people called Cleveland "Believeland". How the fighty have fallen, except for the Browns. Win. Dance. Repeat. Uber over to TD Garden. Win. Skate. Repeat.
  8. Ha, that's not even 1% of a season's worth of ABs. I beg to differ
  9. Wait until Sunday night at Yankee Stadium...
  10. Bruh don't even start. He pops up once and you jump to that moniker? Seriously?
  11. I got some recordings to watch. Call me if something entertaining happens
  12. A Stat Masterson sighting! Brightens this gloomy night
  13. This is the Yankees' year. Right now, they're very much mirroring us from last year. I'm fine with it, to be perfectly honest. You had to expect coming into the season that we weren't going to repeat. It's just too hard. That doesn't mean we won't try, obviously, but still
  14. Patience young grasshopper. You said this yesterday. Wait until the second time around the order
  15. Welcome! Pretty cool seeing where we have fans, especially as you get further from Boston. Look forward to respectfully (or not) disagreeing with you
  16. I stepped away briefly when the Bruins were down 2-0, and missed the first goal, so my friends barred me from watching the rest of the game. When it's the Cup Final, you gotta do what's best for the team
  17. I definitely prefer Mookie leading off as well. Not everybody was born to be a leadoff hitter
  18. I didn't realize how amazing a person he was. Real class act. Somehow, I found myself watching the Marlins-Nationals game on ESPN yesterday, and Dan Shulman was talking about how after game 6, he sat there and answered every question from reporters. If that happened to a player today, there would be absolutely no way he would talk to the media. Of course, the media landscape is much different today, but I was still blown away by that
  19. I've been thinking about this recently... Imagine what we could have gotten for him at the deadline in 2017, right before all this happened
  20. Wow, projected to be Price vs Sabathia on Sunday. Decent pitching matchup today, fantastic pitching matchup in 2008
  21. He's definitely top 2 among players I've watched in my lifetime
  22. Wow, your standards are definitely higher than mine
  23. I'm with you. He did have a couple of good ABs today, and as long as he keeps getting on base, he's doing the job of a leadoff man
