  1. No not at all. But what's the point about arguing about which sport is more important? It's an objective topic, based on TV exposure and overall revenue
  2. Sorry Kimmi, face the facts. I'm not any bit more happy about it than you are
  3. As a fan of the PGA and volunteer at one of the scheduled June tournaments, I agree with this. I also think they will only play in areas that were not as badly hit, at least initially
  4. Great to hear! No matter the religion, the power of prayer is stronger than ever
  5. Hmm, I guess I can agree with that
  6. I honestly don't understand how we're still arguing about this
  7. Even the not worth reading part applies to most of them, at least for someone my age
  8. There's already the Celtics' G League affiliate, the Maine Red Claws. Might be too similar
  9. Portland Bears would probably work, but it's boring
  10. Also, I'm biased but Hartford Yard Goats is an awesome name, and it ties in some history to the region I had a spreadsheet of every MILB team on my old laptop. Wish I still had it. I would go through and list some of my favorites. The only ones that come to mind are the Amarillo Sod Poodles and the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes
  11. Portland can't use that because of the University of Maine
  12. Josh Beckett and Joba Chamberlain. Two names I didn't think I needed to hear today
  13. The right thing to do by a guy whose name sounds like a sneeze
  14. By no stretch of the imagination am I an anti-vaxxer. Obviously, I've gotten all the vaccines required to attend public school and then college, but we've always hesitated for anything beyond that. I've never gotten the flu, except once when I was 6 when our entire house got it. Would I get a COVID-19 vaccine? Probably not, assuming I have the antibodies already in me, which we will find out as soon as it is appropriate to do so. If I don't have the antibodies? I would be more open to the vaccine, but I would have to think about it first. Of course, if UConn required it, that would end the discussion
  15. The combination of this and Jacko's idea would really promote playing for the love of the game, which would be nice to see
  16. Just personal preference. Does there have to be a reason?
  17. Agreed, but I think it's still too soon to tell about football. Good news is, I am considered essential so I would still get to travel with the team
  18. Well I wouldn't necessarily tune into that. I haven't missed sports during this time. I've found other stuff to do, so I feel like even when sports do come back on TV I won't be as engaged
  19. Personally, I don't think that would be appealing to both TV producers and their audiences
  20. Regarding the injuries, couldn't they just have trainers on site that have been tested?
  21. They're already getting it a second time? That must suck
  22. I'm stuck at a school that gives out a BS in accounting. Now wherever I go people are going to call BS
  23. Well wouldn't those who have already gotten it have the antibodies and therefore be immune? A shot for them would be a waste
