Eh, don't count on Eovaldi being that sharp every night. He's no automatic win, especially against deGrom on Wednesday. Hopefully we'll get a lot of reverse lock mojo this season
There was a famous baseball movie where the announcers had crazy stats like "He's 6-2 this season in day games in indoor stadiums north of the Mason-Dixon line"
I forget what movie that was
Speak for yourself. This is one of the best years I've ever had. And no, that's not being selfish/ignoring the death around me. I'm just taking all the positives out of life, and I've had a lot of them recently
I'm not the one to ask about that, but the way I understand it, transmission is immediate, but it still takes time to show up, either in the form of symptoms, or in the form of a positive test
I would think it would be the same window that we've been hearing since March, so like 2-7 days. Correct me if I'm wrong, Jacko. They should be getting tested today, and hopefully they know before playing the Yankees tonight or else that game will have to be cancelled to I'd imagine
On a side note, it was nice to see Big Dick Rick continue to do what he did in Boston last night on national TV. I love him so much, but his sinker his an automatic HR if he misses his spot. That said, we could still use him right now
Depends if any Phillies test positive. It's discouraging, but we knew this would happen. You have to expect an outbreak. How this is handled in the next 24-48 hours will make or break the rest of the season for all 30 clubs. Cancelling the game is the right first step
We knew injuries would happen. If you throw Strasburg and Kershaw in there, you really start to think if it's something about pitchers and their preparation on short notice for a short season.
Also makes me nervous, because it's not like we can afford a bigger hit to our staff
