  1. The good thing about the schedules this year is that by having teams only play their division, and the corresponding division in the other league, it helps to contain outbreaks a little. Yes, the clock is ticking, but an outbreak here and there is to be expected
  2. MVP mojo responsible for all 3 wins. That just made my morning worse :/
  3. Wow keep it going. Win. Dance. Repeat. x3
  4. Reverse lock mojo x2
  5. Reverse lock mojo at it's finest
  6. I'll suit up. I was the JBJ of my HS team. Streaky at the plate, but my defense kept me in the lineup (sort of)
  7. No, just one week's worth of games
  8. Funny thing is, before the game started last night, my roommate and I were having a discussion about whether Buehler would go after hitters or not. I said they should use Kelly as an opener for the game tonight since it's on ESPN because you know he will get the job done. Just ask Tyler Austin (my roommate is a Yankees fan so I had to throw that jab in there). I love that man so much it's not even funny. One of the guys I will always root for even though he's not on my team anymore. Dodgers have a bunch of guys like that. Kelly, Pollock, and now Mookie. I might have to become a Dodgers fan during the postseason
  9. Take out the whiskey and that's my kind of night. That's my cheat day, not just something for when I'm depressed
  10. Why go somewhere else when you can just do it all here? Gee, people on a baseball forum that don't want to talk politics must be the crazy ones
  11. I'm encouraged, but not yet convinced. Bigger test will be tomorrow night. It was the Orioles after all
  12. A 1-0 win is a pipe dream with this pitching staff
  13. I'll take it easy when people around here start following the rules. Kimmi, the nicest poster here, left and refuses to post here again unless the mods come in and clean up all the political s*** that has leaked into virtually every nook and cranny of this place. That to me is a travesty.
  14. Verdugo has the energy of a Big Papi and Pillah plays as hard as Pedroyer
  15. Yeah, he got us that run there. We would have walked away with nothing were it a tradition 4-6-3 DP
  16. We're not talking about colleges reopening, we're talking about college sports, or at least I have been. College sports leaders have flat out said that they are watching the MLB restart model the closest since it is the only major sport not playing in a bubble as playing college football (or any other college sport) is not feasible. Nothing about any of that is political. What you did was import a discussion about opening schools from the political thread, thereby contaminating this thread with political information. The tone of your comment to Sox75 is obvious to anybody that has been paying attention here over the last month. You made it political by saying "Imagine being a teacher and trying to enforce wearing masks and social distancing with pre-teens all day, every day?" We all know how Sox75 feels about schools, and we all know that you feel differently. Leave it in the other thread. There's no reason to bring that into a discussion about the baseball season and whether or not it will get shut down because of this Marlins outbreak or other factors. It literally has nothing to do with it. You teachers can argue all you want about your schools reopening in the COVID Anything Goes Thread, because you guys have done a great job of making that discussion as political as humanly possible over the last month. Just keep it in there. This is a BASEBALL forum first. Some of us just want to talk baseball/sports in general. I don't know why that's so hard to understand. We have a designated thread for your political shenanigans. Either comply or go away
  17. Talking about other sports is acceptable because it relates to what the MLB is doing and is based a lot off of what the MLB is doing and how it responds to the Marlins outbreak. Talking about politics has nothing to do with any of that. This place has rules, which have long since been ignored by you and countless others, but most of us don't give a s*** about politics and don't participate in the political thread. Now that baseball is back, talk baseball here and talk politics there. It's really that simple. This is a baseball forum.
  18. Shut the f*** up. Seriously. Keep the political s*** out of here. It's not that hard. Stop acting like a petty child
  19. I'll take wins for the Red Sox any way I can get them. But then the Orioles would be 6-1
  20. I watched that news break on Get Up this morning
  21. Definitely. Need all the help we can get
  22. There is definitely still time for things to improve. I personally don't think they will improve enough, but at some point you have to stop acting like everything is normal
  23. If there's one thing we've learned from this, it's how the hell can anybody expect to play football in the fall?
  24. Can you still transmit it in that time?
