    i agree. i still like having him around, i'm just not as confident in him as i once was. i used to feel great when he stepped onto the mound, but nowadays i'm kinda like," Uhhhhhhh......". i was just referring to the johnny damon never going to new york comment.

    the problem with going out and getting a starter is that is really show weakness. granted lackey is not working out so far, but like someone said earlier, having him/miller/wakefield/even every now and then aceves is going to get us through the season and into october. our farm system is now in the form of a madman 1st baseman named A-gon! we really don't want to give up a Kalish/Reddick/Iglesias becasue we gonna have some holes to fill ourselves in the next couple of years.

    i think this idea really helps out the al east, but in a whole it would kind of kill rivalry in baseball. division games mean so much more with the thought of losing/gaining ground within your division. the only "rivalry" games will be the longstanding ones of the past. as of now, the AL playoff teams would come out of the east and central. maybe in time it could make sense, but as of now i'm not for it. i like my games to have some meaning. maybe it's just me, but i'm old school. if it's not broke, don't fix it!

    what's going on everyone! i just got a new office job and we're kind of limited in what we can access internet-wise during the day. but for some reason or another i was able to get on this message board! looknig forward to getting into some good debates during my work hours!!
