That goes without saying. Am sure we all want the Evil Empire to lose as many games as possible over the remaining weeks & can see them dropping games. Really hope the O's can go on and win the division.
Another day, another chance for redemption or another disappointment?
Sox to open a 4 game series at Tropicana.
C'mon Sox... Give us something to cheer.
What would it take to get a genuine, top of the range ace? Not kidding around, someone of the quality of Verlander, King Felix, Halladay, Lee, etc? Not necessarily inquiring after these guys, but someone of that calibre.
Lester's pitch count is currently in the mid-50's... Morrow's is close to 100.
That was pretty poor from Lester there though... an error & now 2 on & none out.
Edit - nice way to work himself out of that jam though.
Yep... 19-20-21 June.
In fact since then we have only won 3 or more on the trot once... When the Sox won 4 on the trot at the end of July, but that was 2 against the Stinkees & 2 against Detroit.
Just the 3rd time the Sox have managed back to back wins since the end of July. A win tomorrow will make this the best run of form since then also, as we have not managed to win 3 in a row since then either.
