For me, Story and Yoshida should be role players moving forward. They are not everyday players in my book. Let the youngsters play & take the load, no matter what. If you are going to die, die of something at least.

Wong must catch Crochet moving forward. Futhermore he should take most of the load moving forward, he has earned it.

Devers was red hot when he left. Sale had freaking injuries not related to baseball. You had to bet. You wish for DH's todays production in this anemic offense which speaks volumes of the coaches.

Craig Breslow. Going into his tenure as POBO for the Sox, he had Devers, Sale, Story, Whitlock, Pivetta, Martin, Yoshida, Casas, Duran, Abreu, Houck, Crawford, and Bello. He also had the third ranked farm system ITL with names such as Mayer, Anthony, Rafaela, Teel, Campbell, Yorke, Fitts and more. He had so much talent to build around, instead, most of these guys are gone, or not optimized because of his horrible roster construction or bad coaching hires. It was simple, you develop the guys that you had, and build around those guys with outside talent who can produce. Instead, Breslow has done the opposite, put together awful rosters, and alienated players, execs, and coaches. Unfortunately firing would lead to no one wanting to take the job, as they would fear they would only have it for a few years, but at this point you have to. Eddie Romero has played second fiddle since Dave Dombrowski and I believe it is his time to shine. Let him build this team from the ground up, he deserves it and I think he would do an amazing job. Breslow sucks, simple as that. Hopefully his employers realize that soon

No, my proposal was sign both. Story would have started but by June Arias will be a better bet than Story. Story is done. H&H are depth, although Harrison would have been a better bet than Bello moving forward.

It's basically the same rotation without Bello, and Harrison can't be worse. Bello was the promise never delivered. It is what it is. He is not a top of a rotation guy. And BTW thinking Story is still an everyday SS is delusional to say the least, and they need more "balls" rather than brain to realize that. He doesn't have the range nor the bat anymore.

Story, Yoshida and Duran would have been DH/role/depth players. Seems like Anthony is made of glass and some players underperform and get injured at times. Plus you have Hamilton as well.

Harrison replace Bello. You still sign Suarez. Duran is still a role player. Mayer is nothing but meh. Story is done. You just need balls and common sense.
