Drew's contribution... Drew is 4.08 Pit/PA wearing BOS uniform and it's been improving each season since he was with STL. This 2011 he is 4.13, his second highest peak, just behind 2008 which was 4.16 In OPS he is .885 #94 all-timer. Actually he's above A-God who is #96 all-timer with a .8801. BTW. The MLB AVE for Pit/PA is 3.76 So, you say...

I don't know man, 6th? You could waste a huge ability he has: Speed. i mean, in that spot, his possibilities to run the bases and produce Rs could dramatically fall since he will depend on Jed, Drew and Salty mainly, instead A-God, Pedy, Papi and Youk if you give him the 2nd spot, where i would like him to be. I would like this order... 1. Ells 2. CC 3. Pedy 4. A-God 5. Youk 6.- Papi 7. Jed 8. Drew 9. Salty

My friend, he's better in may, i already shared the numbers, if your point is that he has to be one more month in that spot and keep the numbers, ok, given his start (even i'm not agree). But as i said, 25 days already passed and he's still 7-8 with good numbers. 30 more days do you suggest?

ESPN doesn't update realtime, anyway... My point was in what he's being doing last month, and as i said, if TF will move him up until he still the same pace one more month,it is ok for me, but i don't see when the time will come to see that happen, that's it. We can't keep as such talented player in that spot all season long, right?

That's what i exactly was asking... what is supposed to happen, in a measurable way, in order to move him up? avg? ops? or what? 25 days of May already gone and this month he's .308 avg and .780 OPS. If he is .294 avg & .775 OPS career player; again, what else is needed to happen to move him up in the lineup? another month with the same numbers? if that's the answer, it is ok for me, the thing is that TF hasn't said.

It is not a "rush thing" anymore; he was signed (besides other things) to take the 1-3 spot, and i don't see a 142 MUSD player going as a 7th or 8th all the season long, and i suppose, nobody does even Tito (I hope). Mentioned that, the only question at this point and that is not clear for me anymore is: when or what is supposed to happen in order to move him up? # avg? #SB? # OPS? or what?. That's it. At this point TF hasn't answered that question in a clear way, has he?, cause i haven't heard.

After 20-Hits, 14 Rs, and another scoreless for Lester, Who is not happy? Crawford went 4-4 raising his avg. to .229; is he ready to be moved up in the lineup? I think he is. Tito, what are u waiting for? Tomorrow Alfredo goes to the Mound (2.42) to face Scherzer (2.98). The mexican showed pretty good things the last 5 IP as a starter when he faced the Cubs on National TV allowing only a R and 2 BB; he is a .309 ERA/15-1/1.06 career pitcher, of course mostly as a reliever, so... this could be a good opportunity for him for once and for all to take the spot as a starter. This offense is showing what is capable to do; A-God leading the majors with 43 RBIs, Lester on top as well with 7 Wins, Salty improving his offense with 4 HR and .240 avg. (above CC and JD Drew), Big Papi with 10 HR, CC batting .308 in may, Ells leading the AL with 17 SB, Youk 4th in the AL with a .408 OBP, etc. Those numbers are not recovery symptoms, those are already realities. So... Lets take the first of the Series, and continue this pace. I'm just warming up in this W-streak, hehehe :thumbsup::thumbsup: Lets go Red Sox!
