Well I'm not in the best mood to start this one after the lose, but who is today anyway?, so... i'll do it.
Let's get a win, tomorrow our ace Beckett (1.73) vs Carmona (4.76), seems like a great opportunity to take the AL East lead if NYSuckYs and TB Gays lose.
After we faced Carmona 04/7, this was one of the headlines around "After aces Fausto Carmona and Jon Lester each hurled seven shutout innings, Asdrubal Cabrera laid down a perfectly-placed suicide squeeze bunt as the Guardians completed a three-game sweep and sent the Red Sox to their worst start since 1945."
We lost 1-0 with a GEM-Pitching game from Lester and Carmona; these were the Sox offense numbers:
AVG. 0.086
SLG 0.087
OBP 0.160
BTW guess who lost that game?... you're damn right.... Bard! (at that point he was 0-2 already)
In the other hand, these were Tribe's offense numbers against Beckett (the first of that series 4/05):
AVG .263
SLG .421
OBP .375
Even at this point of the season seems to be different for the RS, the Guardians already won the first of the series just like they did when we faced Tomlin in the first of that one. (We took the advantage first, blowing it in the 4th (2Rs) and 5th (1R) losing that game 3-1)
At this point the Tribe is 30-15 leading all the majors, and 19-4 at Progressive Field.
Today must to be different, must change the pace of this Tribe.
BTW...Hope beat my man BPEF's streak, starting on the road.
Lets go Red Sox!
