  15. well, he's improving but the numbers don't lie!
  16. even in those streaks, someone will hurt this team.
  17. Well, i wouldn't put it that way, the idea is to point those players who are under their performance expectancy, and debate about it with perspective and criteria. I hate TF, but if you look at the standings, the team is 2 games behind NY, at this point, the team is leading the wild card column, 2/5 of his starters have been on the DL (now, 1 recently activated and the other with an eminent surgery, both with terrible numbers so far), several players like CC started just pathetic, so... i would weight the hurting in somebody else before TF, wouldn't you? anyway... what would be the percentage in success/failure of a manager in a MLB team? 20%?
  18. Well, there are a lot of perspectives and stats in order to start a case, so.. i will start looking at Runs batting (Rbat, Number of runs better or worse than average the player was as a hitter.) 2011 Rbat Carl Crawford -10 Salty -4 Cameron -3 When i found out those numbers i was a little bit surprised, mostly about CC. He's been hurting a lot this team when he's AB in order to rate Rs expectancies. On the other hand, he's a 8 Rbat career player so far, but the funny thing is that before signing with Boston he was 17 trough 9 years in that department. This poor stat shows how horrendous was his start with Boston, he has 39 SO just behind Youk and Ells who are 46 and 42 respectively so far; the main difference and that counteract Youk's and Ells' Rbat numbers, are the BB (.33 Linear Weight), that are 31 and 18 respectively, Crawford? 8; another way to rest that 1-2 spot case. CC has not room in the 1-2 spot in this lineup, he doesn't have that required discipline AB in order to take any of those spots. The good, his numbers are improving and hopefully in the end, he surly will be around 17 Rbat again.
