  2. Again, who is gonna PITCH against the O's?. They are by far a better offense than the Rays, and we just have ate 22 f***ing Rs in 3 games against a bunch of kids my friend. We better recover Bedard and Beckett and hope that our offense pound the other teams early in the next remaining series in order to give room to our crappy pitching staff to s*** the bed if they're pleasing to do it again, so... We'll see.
  3. TB vs O's LOL... I would not have considered as a key match at this point. The announced pitchers are Niemann (he has a 4.07 ERA this season and 13.5 last seven days; nevertheless he has a 3.36 ERA at home and a 4.13 vs AL) vs Britton (he has a 4.33 ERA this season and 7.2 last seven days; nevertheless he has a 2.3 ERA at home and a 3.12 vs TB ). On the other hand TB's offense is the 25th and O's is the 13th in all baseball. The money line is 1.65 to TB and 2.30 to O's, so... Stack your odds guys...
  4. At this point, it doesn't matter where we are playing or which pitcher or offense we are facing. My concern is our pitching, they are the show stopper. Toronto has a respectable offense. As I said, If our pitching is not pounded early, we will have great chances to win, otherwise, the same film played lately will be in effect. Lackey and Wake need to settle down for once and for all. It is ironic how much this team depends on these guys now, who would say?
  5. It's hard to say, it depends on several circumstances. I mean, suppose that your ace is slumping, and your bench player just got hot plus that handicap... it's really hard to say, it is not trivial IMO, nevertheless, I would go with my ace.
  6. You just buried Lackey Jacko
  7. If those numbers are for this season, SoxFan got a point, and we could see the light in the end of the road, otherwise I would be worry.
  8. Really? How is that? Sarcastic right?
  9. IMO when you get pounded early in the games just like have been happening lately with our team, your mindset is definitely other after that, and our offense is resenting that fact; when that happens it doesn't matter which pitcher is sent by the other team. I mean, this team has earned 73 f***ing Rs in 11 games against all kind of pitchers (6.6 Rs/game; in 6 of those 11 we have earned at least 7 Rs) it is simply ridiculous, none offense can bear that.
  10. The pitching-match-up panorama against Toronto and TB isn't encouraging at all. Jacko is right there; normalize to me is when you are a 3-4.5 ERA pitcher and a couple of bad nights caught you by surprise somehow but you know that you have the abilities to come back and go through after all. This ain't the case with our pitching staff. Look at the ERA numbers of our current rotation. Miller-Weilands-Lackey-Wakefield are 6.0+ ERA pitchers. We have 2 options: 1. Recover Bedard and Beckett @ full of their abilities = 3-4 ERA. 2. Avoid that Lester gets pounded early in the games and pitch at least 7 inning & hope that our offense produce those 10Rs per game more often till the end of the season, especially when Lester is not pitching. That's the scenario, scary huh!
  11. I'm still having browsing-issues (I just get used to it ). It is very slow and hard to navigate through the site. It doesn't happen at talkpats.com, regardless it didn't happen either here the first couple of months when I just began posting. Is it my user? Maybe a subroutine in my account is hung or something. I really appreciate in advance your help.
