  1. Wonder what are they doing and will do to improve the D and fundamentals problem?
  2. ... and most importantly, it would have been reflected, in what? at very least 5 more wins?
  3. In my book we are officially done. The BP is gassed out. There’s no defense. There’s no fundamentals. There’s no rotation. There’s no good coaching nor management. There’s nothing left. The saddest thing is that I don’t know where this team is going say for the next 2-3 years under this FO.
  4. In Little Leagues play way better defense. Not kidding.
  5. This defense is pathetic. Turning a double play is literally rocket science for this team.
  6. It's annoying. I just switched the announcers.
  7. If Bello is knocked out early, wonder whether Cora is going to leave him die too.
  8. It’s a shame that Cora expose this guy this way. It’s obvious he’s not MLB material. It’s beyond baseball. It’s not ethical.
  9. They at least should give back the money of the tickets. Cora literally gave up the game in the 6th inning.
  10. It’s what I’ve been saying. This team is terrible coached, trained and managed. Terribly!
  11. The problem with big market teams is that you don’t have time to rebuild. I get that, BUT Unlike the Orioles who are going to be competitive for a looooong time, I don’t see this is going to happen here, say, in the next day 5 years. I don’t see a strong farm aside Meyer.
  12. I just read an article where they quoted Mookie saying that he never received an official offer from the Red Sox. Let him walk was a huge mistake regardless the story behind.
  13. The problem with mediocre teams like this, is that give people hopes where there’s any objectively speaking, while keeping people going to the ball park.
  14. But, but our coaching staff is not the problem.
  15. Well, I’ve been a Red Sox fan for a while and most of recent years haven’t been fun to watch, including this to me.
  16. Bloom is responsible for being an all-in-all mediocre team, not that much for playing poor fundamentals. As I said, in the end these are MLB players after all.
  17. Point is, we won’t go anywhere like this and seems like they love it. In the end people will keep going to Fenway to sing Sweet Caroline while filling their pockets.
  18. No problem mate. I don’t see it the same way though. IMO Cora has to be taxed with a big chunk of the accountability for this 2023 disaster at fundamentals and defense.
  19. You are wrong. These are MLB players who have been in the business for a while. Aside Devers who is a lost cause at defense since day one, most of them are at least average with the glove.
  20. They instead keep thinking this is Tampa Bay baseball. They have literally grabbed tons of garbage thinking this is going to work it out while trying to convince us (included me), they are a smart front office. This team is and will be mediocre with our actual culture and philosophy — if there’s one.
  21. I would extend him according to his market value. He’s a a very good player.
  22. According to Mookie, he never received an offer from the Boston Red Sox. It’s a shame they let that ball pass.
