  1. Think it's worth mentioning that Rivera was just carted off in kansas city after hurting his knee shagging flies.
  2. You can't compare last September to this year. Far too different from each other. That's reaching.
  3. That trade I might've made.
  4. That SSS dictates that the orioles have the best pitching in the league. We have to take what we are seeing and compare it to what we've seen in the past and we have to look at what the expectations were. We know that bard and doubront had potential in the rotation and they're showing that they can pitch so knowing what we've seen from them so far and what weve seen before we can make a hypothesis that they will pitch well this season and have a good chance of being correct. The orioles had no signs coming in of being a top staff and nothing pointed to the possibility that they would finish 1st in the division so we can project that with the way that team is built and with the current competition they face that their current run won't be sustained. We have to look past what we've seen so far. With most observations being able to aid an optimistic view point in my opinion I think we can go from both the numbers and the expectations that this team will normalize into a top contender in the American league.
  5. You ever hear of a small sample size?
  6. See, we're in even better shape than I thought.
  7. I think it's sad to see people rip a man who just couldn't live his life anymore. It's tragic but it's a sad fact of life that some people just reach the end of the line and feel as though they have no other option.
  8. Jesus Christ you people are reactionary. Bard and Doubie are kids, they're gonna struggle at times but the early returns have been beyond expectations. The A's have superb pitching so it isn't that surprising that our bats went cold for a couple nights. Also, I fail to see how we are in such dire straits because when I look at the three competitive AL East teams I see this; New York: Great lineup and bullpen A rotation that has 1 great pitcher, 1 solid starter, 2 question marks, and an absolute piece of garbage a rotation that also lost its biggest addition for the season Tampa Bay: Great all around pitching staff but an offense that is anemic and just lost its number 1 hitter for up to 2 months Boston (i.e Us) Rotation anchored by two top quality pitchers, a possible third if he gets his act together, and 2 solid young arms who've been very impressive thru the first month A bullpen that started off horribly but is slowly regaining its bearings that can only go up from where they were with reinforcements on the way. A lineup that despite losing the MVP runner up, their 142 million dollar left fielder, and having their MVP caliber first baseman struggle is still piling up the runs with the two injured players on the road to recovery and the 1st baseman too good not to hit like a superstar when he gets it together. So tell me, how exactly are we in such bad shape as some of you are claiming?
  9. Then I'll relent that we are in trouble. I doubt it's anything too serious, though.
  10. Eh, nothing to be overly worried about.
  11. He burns out after a month.
  12. Apparently we're signing mark prior?
  13. Over under on 50% chance that youk is about to lose his job?
  14. Good night everyone im gonna take a piss and go to bed.
  15. Win tomorrow and take at least 2 from Baltimore.
  16. Oh well. We will win tomorrow.
  17. Walk off Pedey bomb coming right up.
  18. Remember when this turd was a big deal?
