  1. ERA is overrated pumps and Josh's is weighted by 2 bad outings.
  2. I spent 3 minutes typing and I check the Gameday to see: Jarrod saltalamacchia homers on a fly ball to left field. Jizz. In. My. Pants.
  3. All things considered, 3 games over is a solid achievement for a team with injuries to the rotation, the MVP runner up missing 3 months along with the 20 million dollar left fielder, and our closer being out til after the break. I'm not saying we are going to storm to the top of the east with the way we are right now. That's not gonna happen. But once healthy, this team looks a lot like, maybe better than, the team that dominated the AL for most of the season last year. If we can hang around until we get healthy, the second half is where we make our run. Plus, we have some resources to go shopping at the deadline and there's a couple of nice options available to us.
  4. I'm sure that number would be better if not for the two outlier starts against Detroit and Cleveland.
  5. Sox fans haven't come off as the rational type this year. I wouldn't be surprised if 90% of thought as Semper Fi does. Doesn't mean they're right.
  6. That's unsubstantiated rumors. What we know, factually, is that the guy is our best pitcher and it's probably a good idea not to trade him.
  7. First off. There are better stats to judge a pitcher except ERA. Second off, he's been money all year except for 2 aberrations in which he was on about a 10 day layoff with an injury issue thrown in. On a regular schedule this year, he's been pretty damn similar to the guy who had dominated the league last year.
  8. I'm gonna LOL hard if lillibridge goes walk off tonight. How sick would that be?
  9. That was a hanging slider. Lawdouche had one to hit right there.
  10. You mean the guy who's been our best starter this year? That burnt about as much as a cold shower.
  11. Even if we lose tonight, which isn't certain because all we need is one run, we can still salvage the last game and then we get 3 at Seattle with Beckett and morales going in the series.
  12. Not to mention that they have a huge load of money tied up in pitching already and he's going to command a huge salary.
  13. Garza damn it. Or get Hamels and make me get BTR glue all over the keyboard.
  14. Kick some ass and bury those stupid little birds in last place.
  15. If I had to choose between winning 1 billion dollars or being allowed to water board nick swisher, I'd pick the latter. The man is a walking, talking, faux hawk sporting douche.
  16. Let the game begin.
  17. You're on. I think we're in agreement that we both want me to win though?
  18. Can you answer the question I posed to you on the last page? Not trying to force the issue but just want your thoughts on the matter.
  19. They'll need some serious pen help but the rotation is solid and they have a decent enough lineup, at least as far as I know. I'm not guaranteeing a playoff but I think they'll hang around.
