    Not a fan of Rice covering post game. But I absolutely love Eck in there, and I really like Eck doing play by play with Don, too. I may be in the minority here but I really like the baseball lingo that Eck comes up with seemingly every sentence.

    If you promised me a .700 OPS from Vaz with a .345 OBP, I would sign up instantly. His defense is nothing short of mind boggling. 1.8-1.9 pop time consistently?? Sometimes in the 1.7's?!? Yes, pls.

    Not vs a LHP. Nava has a .290 OBP v LHP. Gomes has a .360 OBP vs LHP. Not to mention that Gomes has a track record of crushing LHP.

    Wow I am beyond shocked right now. I thought, ok, give Dempster one more in Carroll then bring in the lefty to face Mauer and Morneau. But to bring in Mortenson??? That's ridiculous both on who they bring in and leaving in Dempster

    Lavarnway hitting th ball well right now. They'll start to fall. Side note - can you imagine if the Sox didn't start the year with Bradley, and he went down to AAA and was performing as well as he is not (.304, .418 OBP)? With the way Ellsbury has been performing, I wonder if people would be calling for Bradley right about now.

    That's not very fair. He averaged 6 and 1/3 innings per outing with the Cubs since 2010.
