    This team flat out cannot hit junkballers. It's outrageous how bad they are, especially sliders and changeups. Throw 55% changeups and you've shut down this offense. And it's been like that for years.

    Can't do much about RISP problems. Just a statistical fluke really. It evens out in the end. The good news is that the Sox have weathered the storm and the pitching has allowed them to stay in and win quite a few games while this has gone on. It'll get better. May is just a regression from April but there is some middle ground that the Sox will find soon.

    Yeah I hear ya on Webby. I think Hernandez throws a bit harder than that. Either way, I wouldn't be shocked to see RDLR get a shot soon as well, depending on Morales and his progress. Hopefully, though, Morales can get 1-2 more starts and then jump on as the number 5 starter. At this point, Doubront is just an ineffective long man, at least until he regains his velocity. He was borderline when he threw hard. Throwing 90 and walking 5 in 5 innings while throwing 100+ innings against end of the worse offensive teams in the game is not acceptable.

    Wonder how long the leash is on Doubront. I can't say it enough. I really think that we have at least 1 better SP in AAA than Doubront right now in Webster, and Hernandez could probably outperform him too.
