  1. I need to stop having pee breaks.
  2. Did anyone on this Pirates team have more then 10 home runs last year? I haven't seen one yet.
  3. Good lord does the new UI suck for the new MLB.TV app.
  4. I don't know about incentives. But, according to the google, it's a 1.35 million base salary this year.
  5. There is a lot more upside to Pomeranz then Buchholtz. Pomeranze is only going to cost 1.3 million this year. He is is younger. He is under control for longer and he made it to the All-Star game last season. Also, unless you're getting the equivalent of what you gave up to get him, you're not trading him.
  6. Wow, they got someone in return for this idiot?!?! I would have just taken a bag of rocks.
  7. I agree. They did lack clutchness last year. It was very a slim chance that they'd pull out a game that had five runs or less. Now you take a way Mr. Clutch in David Ortiz and it's even more concerning. I think they've already proven that they're going for it with the trades that they've just made. Just sign someone who can actually replace Ortiz and screw the luxury tax.
  8. I don't know if this signing is really is going to have a big impact on this team. I feel like the direction of this team is going more towards pitching, rather than having an offense that scores 10 runs a game. The Red Sox had that offense last year, and got swept out of the first round of the playoffs. That's why you're seeing them getting more impact pitchers rather then hitters.
  9. The Adrian Gonzalez trade wasn't bad. Unfortunately, the Dodgers weren't going to take the other bad apples without him.
  10. That's why you trade away potentially good position talent for an ace pitcher under control.
  11. that was Baltimore who drafted him.
  12. Buckholtz isn't an ace, he's a head case.
  13. Wow, this is nuts. I wonder if Moncada's lackluster performance in the Majors made it easier to deal him for Sale.
  14. I think the Red Sox are going to be pigeonholed for the next couple years with what they can do. Ben Charrington really screwed up their finances with bad decisions. I don't see them making a move this off-season.
  15. So now that Carlos Beltran and Matt Holliday are off the table. What do the Red Sox do with the DH position? Could we see Mike Napoli back in a Red Sox uniform?
  16. Couldn't agree with you any more. It wont be too long before everyone here starts calling him names again. Right now people are under the good Clay Buchholtz spell and can't see him for what he really is.
  17. This must be some kind of cruel joke. Why can't we seem to get rid of this guy? He only shows up for one month of the season.
  18. Trading in the division is hard. You'd have to give up a lot to make anything happen. I would imagine the Sox would have to give the Rays Benintendi, Bradly and Moncada. Do you really want to supply the Rays with that much young talent?
  19. Kind of like I don't miss Rivera taking away the 9th inning.
  20. Get them next year.
  21. If he doesn't retire. He's 40, I think.
  22. I don't believe he had to win this series to not get fired. The only thing I was thinking would get him canned is if they got their ass kicked. That they are receiving.
  23. And there goes any chance....
