Hard for me to say it's over. I'm always hoping there's a chance and never give up until we are mathmatically eliminated. In a way I hope the Sox would lose the next 10 games to put an exclamation point for a comeback. This might be an overreaction to some on this site, but the 2011 season felt like a death in the family to me. I've never been so upset over sports like that ever. All I really want now is for them to win on August 6th. That will somewhat make this season better for me.
What he said^
I know deep down, SCM33 is a Red Sox fan. He was frustrated with how the team FO was doing and took it to the next step to cheer the Cubs. Don't know why and don't care to be honest. I'll continue to poke fun at him but he knows I'm not serious.
It's unlikely, but there's still another half of baseball to be played. That's fine if you feel like they won't make the playoffs, but until the magic number is zero, let us continue to keep the faith.
You better walk your dog every game then. I had the same problem a few years back, except it was when I took a shower. Every time I went to shower, they scored a shitload of runs. It was weird, but can't mess with the mojo...
