    Today I entertained a foolish daydream whereby we send Price to the Dodgers in a three-team deal that nets us Gray. We pay most of his remaining contract unless he opts out. Would never happen of course, but it would be money well spent (and I know Gray has his own injury history).

    Don't know what Stroman said, but the graphic shows it's clearly a ball. Maybe the ump was inconsistent throughout the game. Tossing Martin as well seems ridiculous. Beltre's ejection was ridiculous.

    At some point it looks less like coincidence and more like track record. And we're past that point where Price in the postseason is concerned.

    And what is there to have a problem with Eck about, anyway? I don't watch the broadcasts but the examples of his criticisms cited here are legitimate comments that any color man across the league would make. Someone on espn posted the final word on this: Eck's postseason ERA vs Price's.

    Whether other players have a problem with Eck and applauded is irrelevant - what Price did was totally, utterly wrong, and very unprofessional.

    Just became aware of this situation. Taking what's reported on face value, Price was SO far out of line it's ridiculous to draw any other inference. This is yet another red flag to his mental makeup. 1. To take offense at what Eck said - ABOUT ANOTHER PLAYER - is ludicrous. What part of expressing displeasure at E-Rod's s***** outing is offensive? 2. To confront Eck publicly and scream obscenities at him - is this real life? Is Price mentally deranged? To paraphrase Christian Bale, I want you off the f***ing set, you prick.

    I'm really sorry, Kimmi (pt 2) but Cherington really did a number on this franchise. Horrible signings and laid the groundwork for forcing our hand into signing Price. Thanks, Ben.
