    Absolutely. A .300 OBP puts him above mid of the pack for SS. only 2 SS in 2012 has an OBP above .350, only 4 above .340 .650 OPS and gold glove defense is excellent for a SS. Just not the sub .400 OPS ******** that is lower than some guys OBP.

    It's a make or break year for Iggy. They have given him every opportunity to have SS stamp down. The organization has not been so graceful and patient with Reddick and others, they have been with Iggy and have paid him nearly $10M. If Iggy isn't hitting, he's a bench role or a package for a trade. Time is running out.

    Middlebrooks been killing the ball the past few weeks after a scare on a check swing. He's scorching the ball to right center that will be HR in many AL east parks.

    Ellsbury continues to pull the ball weakly to the right side. He has like 5 groundball to flyball ratio this spring. He's not having good ABs either.

    Velocity reading been mixed. Command still isn't very good. I saw him a few days ago and wasn't impressed. He isn't attacking hitters as he should with his fastball. He needs to regain command of that pitch first. Flirting with his changeup is holding him back. I wish the coaching set this straight.

    Wow USA completely were inept last night. They could not capitalized on a pitcher that wanted to hand it to them on a silver platter. After loading the bases, team USA bats went silent after. They had terrible AB when a few DR relievers that were known to walk the park but they still hack away after being ahead in the count. And why is Willie Bloomquist starting 3B over Ben Zobrist if Wright is injured?

    Ouch, Italy let two game slipped away, otherwise they would've punch their tickets to San Fran for the semi finals. Once again, the closer who is paid millions cannot help a team in the 7-8th when the life is on the line.

    Bradley is doing everything right since the start of spring. Just picking up where he left off last season. He also seems genuinely nice and his demeanor sticks out. He has the poise to back his skillets. I would probably rank him now as the Sox's #1 prospect because he's a nearest complete and major league ready.

    He most certainly will hit behind Ortiz. So far in ST, he hit around 6-7th in the order. I'm not a fan of Farrel's LRLR lineup.

    Middlebrooks stung two ball to dead center and right center, that's most likely are HR in non Fenway dimensions last night. So far I see him hit a lot of ball to the opposite field. Maybe a prep for Opening Day.
