  1. Looks like Santana career is at a crossroad with another injury. The mets are on the hook for about $30M.
  2. it must be 20 CONSECUTIVE days in the minors. If he is brought up before the 20 days, those days spent down there will be credited as major league time.
  3. This team is hogging Mortensen as if he were an asset is frightening. I guess one of Bailey or Hanrahan will get traded mid-season.
  4. Are you trying to get fired?
  5. I don't think Bradley will break camp. But I don't think we'll wait a year to see him. I think he head to AAA for a few weeks and polish up on hitting breaking balls. At his age, he's still not seen the more advanced breaking pitches and yet to play above AA. From what I seen, he could use the time to learn hitting offspeed pitches.
  6. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/mlb/news/20130325/mlb-preview-staff-predictions/?sct=hp_t12_a2&eref=sihp Nice photo of Victorino. Exactly how I feel about this signing.
  7. he's at least another year away. What brought Bogaerts up? The guy just turn 20 last October.
  8. Bradley could be up as earliest as April 16th for them to get an extra control year, which is the 2nd game after the Home Opener. They'll likely to fall toward this in promoting Bradley. So hold your horses for 12 SERVICE days. You'd get Bradley for up to 153 games for 2013 and the Sox get their additional year of control.
  9. really impressed with Middlebrooks again today, could had a 4-4 day if they didn't ruled a ball hit at Rollins as an error. The ball was well hit. Another ball that look to found the gap but robbed by Mayberry (?). He's developing into a potent bat.
  10. Why is Bard still fixated with that terrible changeup? Still look like a headcase out there.
  11. Bradley will love to hit off the monster with that swing.
  12. it's like getting your eyes stabbed watching Ellsbury and Victorino with a week left to opening day. Once again they can't hit the ball more than 90 feet.
  13. This Ellsbury+Victorino so far is ghastly to watch in spring. Bad AB, worse results.
  14. Middlebrooks is killing the ball this spring.
  15. It must be a shock still for him outside looking at the window with just 8 days to opening day. They given him time since last June to get his s*** together and he still has not. Part of it is his head is not in the right place.
  16. It's on WEEI.com The excuses are just mind blowing.
  17. He's here to get himself straightened out. At this moment he can't pitch in anything more than a blowout game. Why don't he just go about his business when called upon: get hitters out. Block out everything else. That's step one on the road to recovery. If he can't do that, then he need a change of scenery.
  18. Bard is a complete mess who can't admit that he has issues to ironed out. He blames the lack of 'adrenaline' in a AA game for his struggles. He walked 2 and hits batter, got taken out the inning. Get this guy some help first, see some counseling.
  19. Bard seems like a headcase still. It doesn't help the media is following him every day and prodding they do doesn't help. Give him 2 months to work it out before a change of scenery is needed.
  20. Hanrahan, Bailey. Be sure to ask the other team for a 30HR gold glove OF and its power hitting 1B prospect.
  21. It isn't blackout? Strange. Hmms you're better off just grabbing MLB.tv premium for just around $120 yearly, allows you to watch all games for all 30 teams in HD.
  22. How'd you get NESN outside New England region?
  23. What a putrid spring for Ellsbury.
  24. Middlebrooks is back bitches.
