Martin is broken. With the Red Sox's medical staff, he would have never left the minor leagues. Even with whatever drugs the Yankees are putting in him, I see no reason to expect him to continue this production. Salty is atleast healthy.

I found it very interesting how the Rays handled their stockpile of picks. I've read several reports that said they picked several players that they knew were low cost signings. Its a shame that small market teams can't even afford to draft the best players possible.

I understand that. But, I don't see a problem with elite players with mediocre seasons getting in. What bothers me is when former superstars get in with crummy seasons.
