I posted this elsewhere, but it is more relevant here: Anyone know if there are any clauses in his contract that could nullify this year of the contract? I tried digging it up, but there isn't much history there. Apparently most contracts have felony clauses -- he had 5 misdemeanors-- and include this following clause: A contract can be voided if a player "shall fail, refuse, or neglect to conform his personal conduct to the standards of good citizenship and good sportsmanship or keep himself in first-class physical condition". They might as well give it a shot, he aint playing this year anyway. I want to emphasize this one. Bobby Jenks, you are a fat f***.

Well, considering the Rays drafted 8 players in the first round this year, they will be reaping the rewards from that for the next decade.
