Tex, ARod and Martin all sat out for the first game. All three should be back in the second game. ARod is currently hitting the ball extremely well though so if he's hurt keep hurting. Cano and Granderson/Gardner will probably get the night off.

Agreed teams not in the playoff hunt would beat that deal and just collect the two draft picks at the end of the year and give their fanbase a star to put butts in the seats. Reds will get reyes imo for homer bailey, devin and a b prospect.

Really? He's projected to make the Yankees 1.3 billion, thats a little over one billion dollars profit... name me another player who can ay claim to that. As soon as we landed A-Rod in 2004 we started getting record revenue which allowed us to keep raising our payroll.

Updating my prospect list. It's hard to grade guys from 2011 draft so I'll leave them out not to say any of them would be in our top 10 since we went prep mostly. Even our 2010 draft its hard cause most of them still haven't played cause we went prep again with a lot of our big picks. 1. Montero 2. Banuelos 3.Betances 4. Sanchez 5. Heathcott 6. Romine 7. Marshall 8. Warren 9. Murphy 10. Noesi Heathcott, Murphy and Marshall making the biggest jumps. Top four holding steady, while Brackman falls. I kind of think they'll end up moving him to the bullpen.

Yankees went off today, took 19 tough signs out of 20 picks today. GREAT work. Get the top 10 signed and then Davis, Sharp, Camarena, Ravenelle, McCue and J. James and I'll be happy.

If you watched the first round on TV the Sox were using the BA magazine rankings as their sheet. So I would expect them to have one of the higher number of picks in the BA list.

man jacko im shocked you don't know too much about the daft. James is a big time steal. Probably our 3rd or even 2nd best player we drafted behind Cave and Bichette jr. Although we just took Davis, I know KF loves him. Cote is a Matt hyde get, so expect good things from him. It's not the best draft but similar to last year. Yankees really applying the pressure here, hope it continues as the first few picks were rather meh.

Didn't understand picking him there, rumor was it was a tip to Girardi since him and his dad are best buds. Joe named his kid after Dante sr. He was ranked as the 36th best high school player by BA, but stilll with Dillon Howard on the board I don't understand it.
