  1. Someone on twitter emailed me thier list Not really a fan of it.
  2. I'm excited about finally having bats in the system. Bird, Cave, Bichette and Duran look very interesting.
  3. Yes Expo is a top prospect. I'm not just generalizing your system to these twenty propsects either... I'm talking about it as a whole. I'm just using Sickels comments as a spring board to discussion.
  4. GCL is watered down lets see him do it at higher levels. Bitchette is younger, has pedigree and doing better, thats the only reason I have him in my top 20. Plus he just really screwed up his ankle badly, lets see how he comes back before we go with a top 10...
  5. Just can't man. Ravel Santana's just in gcl and is already 19.
  6. Come on Griffey has a sleep disorder... it's a medical condition.
  7. Here's my top 20 as of now. 1. Jesus Montero 2. Manny Banuelos 3. Dellin Betances 4. Gary Sanchez 5. Austin Romine 6. Slade Heathcott 7. Mason Williams 8. JR Murphy 9. Cito Culver 10. Brett Marshall 11. Corban Joseph 12. Adam Warren 13. David Phelps 14. Dante Bichette 15. Ramon Flores 16. Angelo Gumbs 17. Graham Stoneburner 18. Bryan Mitchell 19. Brandon Laird 20. David Adams Nunez and Nova I'm pretty sure lost prospect status by now and Noesi has been up long enough for me to not consider him one anymore. A lot of the guys in GCL I left off since it's hard to judge but there's no denying Bitchette has been impressive so I put him on. Really excited about the 2010 draft and the 2011 is looking like another prime draft.
  8. Thank you, this was the response I was looking for. You can always tell the people who don't know too much about the system when they just come in here and make one line comments that don't bring anything to the discussion table.I personally like Bogaerts and Jacobs, but not really too high on Miles Head.
  9. Well please inform me different then, instead of just saying that. It would appear you know knowing about the system and are just making a blanket statement
  10. http://www.minorleagueball.com/2011/8/10/2352455/boston-red-sox-2011-top-20-pre-season-prospects-in-review Middlebrooks, Reddick and Lavarnway are the only real standouts who've made some good progress. Coyle and Cecchini also derserve some praise, but a lot of stinkers mixed in between. Whats your opinion on the year as the minor league season draws closer to a close.
  11. Well Montero is two years younger and power is the last to come around... Not making an excuse but would you seriously rather have Larvaway in your system than Montero?
  12. Mason Williams is kind of like Ryan Westmoreland from 2009 IMO. It should be interesting where BA has him on their top 100 prospect list. Ryan was 21st in 2010(list is after the 2009 season)
  13. Jeremy Rathjen would make it a success.
  14. Rathjen would make me jizz myself.
  15. Check out the Elias rankings
  16. Bedard is a LONG way off to even being a Type B...
  17. Glad you guys didn't get Robinson. Really like that guy. I'm going to say four years from now he'll be the key to the deal. Like this play from the M's point of view. Chiang is solid too.
  18. Fields is a pitcher...
  19. Yankees were really only after Bell, Adams and Ubaldo. They asked about Wandy but they wouldn't pay much. I guess Cashman didn't see the need to go after bench players.
  20. Bedard was traded probably to the Sox.
  21. what are you talking about? you got mike avilies.
