    With Ellsbury being back on the DL and with his health being a question for much more of the season, along with the fact that Cameron is 37 years old and has been hurt all year has had me wondering if the team should start looking to add another OF. McDonnel has shined at times, but he is really a 5th OF and by now we know what we see is what we get with Hall. Hermida shouldn't be playing this many games and his defense is a liability out there.

    The Oilers would take Hall, he is clearly the more potent goal scorer. Not say Seguin will be great, but what the B's need is a goal scorer

    Beckett's rehab is going slowly. The Sox have shut him down until his back feels 100%. They feel that his back discomfort is causing him to change his delivery motion, which could cause arm problems down the road. Beckett couldn't even repeat his motion in the bullpen the other. Who knows when he will be back

    C's are up by double digits at the half. Rondo had a great first quarter but was out for most of the 2nd with back problems. Nate was a great spark off the bench. The Magic are starting to get it together though, being lead by Vince Carter of all people.

    I'd give up on counting on Lowrie to do anything productive for the team for any extended period of time. The guy can never get healthy.

    Perk will play in game 6, his second T from game 5 was removed. Baby said he will play, but I doubt he will after only 48 hours after suffering a concussion. Sheed, I don't know whats up with, back spasms and pain I assume. This team is screwed if we have Perk, Scal, and Sheldon Williams covering Dwight Howard.

    Having Varitek out there doesn't hurt too much when you have a hot offense and the team is winning. But when Tek becomes an automatic out again and the Sox begin to cool off, we will hear the same bitching about Varitek again.

    OMG, that is not good news to hear. This is turning into a lingering injury would could plague him for the 10' season. With old ass Cameron out there, the Sox might have to start looking at an OF to add to the team. God Bless Darnell McDonald, but he is a 5th OF at best. Hermida has hit when the he is desperately needed to, but my god the guy can't field to save his life.

    Its May, relax, he still has bad form at 3rd base, still doesn't get his body in front of balls, still backs up on balls and still short hopps them to first. With the exception of a couple of defensive plays this year I haven't been thrilled with him. As for his offense, people are saying he is finally playing like they expected him to? Who the hell expected him to be hitting .341 right now? No one. Beltre is one hell of a hot streak, don't get me wrong I love it, but the parade won't last forever. His BA, OBP, Slugg, OPS are all above his career norms in Seattle, and even with all the park adjustment from moving over from Safeco to Fenway for 81 games a year, his production is still due to drop off. Did I expect him to have a 800 ish OPS, sure; did expect him to hit 20-25ish home runs, sure, but the average won't be this high all year. He can have a great year this year but after this year is walking away for the $, so no sense in getting attached to him.

    I hope the NBA does the right thing and revokes Perk's technical fouls and let him play in game 6. They damn well should. Hopefully Big Baby is ok, b/c he has been great off the bench so far in the series. I hope Nate Robinson can play a bit more b/c he could provide some energy and scoring. This series is too similar to the Bruins series, both teams went up 3-0, lost game 4 in OT, and got blown out in game 5. The Magic have seemed to have mastered the double screen, which the C's can't defend.

    People said when the team was struggling it was only May that there was a lot of time left, well you can say the same thing now when the team is playing well and winning 7/8 games. Its only May. The offense won't be this hot all year. The question of whether of Ortiz can keep this pace up all year or not will remain unanswered.The bullpen is still a massive concern. Ellsbury may be hurt yet again. Scutaro sucks. Beckett is still a question mark.
