Why is he only the 15 day DL then? I assume he'll be moved to the 60. 2 months till rehab, so he'll be rehabbing in mid August, so could he back by September and hopefully back in MLB form by mid September?

I got a Hail Satan shirt. Wish he would be back just for that sole reason, so the shirt would have relevance haha. Good to see Recchi back. So many crazy rumors with the Bruins, last I heard is Thomas/Savard in a package deal to Toronto and in part of the return we get Phaneuf. Why trade Savard when you can just put Seguin on the wing? No one right now on the team can match Savard's point totals when healthy. And if you trade him to Toronto, that makes them better, and lets not forget we have their 1st round pick next year too. Just try and trade Thomas for another winger or puck handling defense man.

I find it hilarious when Yankee fans go, "he's a true Yankee now!" There are no true Yankees when most of the players are hired guns bought via free agency. Until the Yankees win a World Series in capped league, you really can't give credit to all those titles

I wouldn't touch Beltre with a ten foot pool this offseason, guy is classic contract year guy who doesn't live up to the hype of the next contract. The bullpen will be the teams downfall, I've been saying this all year. Papelbon has been trending downward for the past 2 years, I'm glad everyone else is finally seeing that. The guy is no loner an elite closer, nor has he been for quite some time. Oki isn't fooling anyone anymore, Delcarmen had his nice stretch and now he's imploading. Bard is gonna be thrown out there way too much this year, he'll me might have to be the closer. The Sox need their starts to go at least 6 innings every night, we can't have multiple scrubs out there. What we need is an 8th inning guy to take the load off of Bard or hell even a closer if we see Paps continue to melt down like he has been. -
This team must have the worst trainers or the softest players, well Drew is soft that is a given, so is Dice-K, Beckett is hurt every year, Ellsbury is soft, and now Pedrioa might be out for a while b/c of something that happens to players every game, fouling a ball of one's foot. Baseball is a sissy sport to being with, but c'mon

Wow, Federer was down 2 sets to none to Alejandro Rollas before winning the third 6-4, the 4th 7-6, and cruising in the 5th 6-0, a lot of drama to start the opening round

Well I know that, but who cares about the AL West for the past ten years when this is the only year that affects the playoff race. Seattle has to be one of the biggest disappointments in all of baseball, the Angels suck, the A's aren't that great of a team, and Texas has limited pitching. I doubt any team in that division reaches 90 wins. Mid 80's could win that divison, which is terrible seeing the 3rd place team in the East will have 93 + wins

Problem is the three best teams in the AL are in the AL East and only two get in while two scrub teams from the Central and West get in.

If the C's do a sign and trade with Ray and Pierce opts out, how much cap space would we have? We would we have enough to go after Amare or Joe Johnson?

i've heard crazy rumors that the Bruins would trade their 2nd 1st round pick, Savard, and Wheeler to Columbus for the 4th overall pick and draft Cam Fowler.

Doc won't come back, Ray Allen shouldn't be re-signed, and the Big 3 is broken up. This will be the last time we see the C's contending for the title for a long, long time
