    Yeah the truth is most civilian's don't know Monday is used as a slur. Monday = term used within the police brotherhood to describe black people. It's something you only hear around police... or retired police... and bigoted officers are careful not to use it around other officers unless they're sure everyone shares their view of black people. This officer thought nobody would understand what he was saying because most people don't know what it means. Black people, including Crawford, know all too well what it means. On another note I wonder if "Monday Night Football" will have to change it's name.... How about "Football on the Night the day after Sunday?"

    Yanks recently found out Gardner needs season ending surgery so they went out and got a player in Ichiro to replace his speed and defense.

    Instead of whining about him joining a rival team for half a season they should be happy for him he has an opportunity to earn a ring. He's ranked second among major league rightfielders with 12 Defensive Runs Saved, a stat that combines his ability to turn batted balls into outs with the deterrent value of his throwing arm. The only player who ranks higher is Josh Reddick. Ichiro also has with 15 stolen bases. That’s more than anyone else on the Yankees this season.
