  1. There's lots of new big stars, they're just extremely boring. I watch it once a blue moon and there's always some new guy they're trying to make a star out of, who by the next time I watch, is completely phased out. I think wrestling just died out when 90% of the guys who were cool in the 90s just decided to retire within 5 years of each other. Randy Orton is supposed to be some big star, he's just some annoying cocky kid who has no character whatsoever. His move is the "RKO" which is the exact same thing as Diamond Dallas Paige's "Diamond Cutter" move. They're all terrible actors, just like the old wrestlers, but the thing is, the new wrestlers try to act. They all try to act, in the old days they didn't even hide the fact they were s***** actors, because they didn't try to put effort into acting.
  2. Wake is inconsistent, and has looked at times like he's exactly what we thought he was to start the season, some guy who needs to retire and not be put into games. He's 44 years old, I don't think he's got it anymore, I surely don't find his 5 inning 5 run performance very acceptable for a "very solid starter".
  3. In a very irritating manner. You pretend to know things you don't, then you try to argue against people with straw man tactics, which you then deny, regardless of proof to the contrary. If you were as innocent as you're pretending to be, people wouldn't be so hostile towards you.
  4. Lol, pro wrestling is like a reality show now, it's like pretend-serious business, there's no more good characters. Every guy used to be a character, it used to be funny, now it's just the same crap, some guy gets the title, holds it for a year and has a couple of rivalries, if he's good, he turns into a heel, if he's bad, he loses his title to someone and a month later he helps a good guy win the title and thus becomes good himself. I used to watch it with my dad all the time, it was good into the 90s, my dad said that wrestling was always good until about 10 years ago. I was still a kid then, but even I thought wrestling got really boring. There's nothing funny anymore, it's serious business now.
  5. You guys really ought to stop complaining, you're all hypocrites, every single one of you who was mad because of the Drew bitching, who's bitching today over the shutout, and Tito, you're hypocrites. And that's all I got to say, I won't take part in a big fight like the last time people were pissing and moaning.
  6. This is the most intelligent thing you've ever said, on all of your accounts.
  7. Now you guys can share the misery of living in Arkansas with each other. jk
  8. You claimed that you knew Pedroia wasn't liked across the league. Either you know this for fact, or you're just talking out of your ass.
  9. Six4 pretends to know a lot of stuff that we all don't know, he claims his sports knowledge has allowed him to be successful in life. Lol, I wouldn't put too much thought into anything he says. As annoying as he is, it's hard to take him seriously anymore.
  10. The thing with Pedroia is that he's known more for his work ethic, competitiveness and intelligence than he is for his freakish talents. Those types of players can have a lot of longevity, because that's something that as long as the player wants it to be sustained, it will not diminish. It can't be quantified, but there are certain players who obviously are not as talented, but are still as productive as those who are freaks of nature. I think Pedroia could play at this level for quite some time.
  11. Pedroia will probably get a shot if he hits close to .300, and has close to .800 career OPS, on top of playing stellar defense. As for old players who should get in (TY FOR FINALLY GETTING BLYLEVEN IN, TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH) there should also be a space for Jim Kaat and Tony Oliva, just a couple of Twins off the top of my head.
  12. I could go either way on the DH rule for the NL, it doesn't really make that much a difference to me, I sort of like the way things are right now. What they ought to fix is instant replays. Honestly, pitchers don't hurt themselves hitting, most baseball injuries occur out in the field, I can't find figures, but I don't see the big deal with pitchers hitting. It provides different challenges that also lead to different strategies, and sometimes more fun. I like the DH and the pitcher hitting, so tbh, I'm hoping they keep it like it is.
  13. http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_id=9873701 This is why I would miss pitchers hitting.
  14. Those don't work on m..... *drooling... snaps out of it*... me buddy.
  15. Lol, you come to this site for an hour a day just to make posts that insult like 80% the people who read it, in other words, whoever disagrees with you. I'm not hurt, I'll admit to baiting you, but it's only because no one likes you, and there's a good chance you'll respond with one of your posts where you pretend to be intelligent and cutting by "dissecting" the argument and get yourself banned. You're just some no-lifer who listens to too much thrash metal and thinks he's a rebel by being socially inept. I wouldn't even think to give you your chops if you would ever post in a civil manner, but your first instinct is to not only disagree, but tell people they're idiots if they disagree with you. This is primitive behavior. I don't regret it if I get banned or not, I didn't insult anyone in this post.
  16. Sorry, Mavericks have been competitive for over 10 years now, they're not a no-name team, if that's what you're getting at. Also, the Guardians have already begun collapsing, whereas the Giants had two dominant aces on their staff, on top of a solid lineup. Just because the little guy wins sometimes, does not mean the little guy will continue to win. I'm sort of confused what you're getting at.
  17. Lol, you're thick if you believe that's not PR ********, and that you couldn't possibly get away with using 'roids. There's a cloud of doubt now, and rightfully so.
