  1. Yeah, Stephen Curry could have easily been drafted higher, but I realize why he wasn't. Anyways, I've been frustrated with Flynn. Guy's been a bust, just like Randy Foye was before him, and Nbdi Ebi or whatever his weird name was. HUGE bust.
  2. We'd have to give up Buchholz I'm sure, but I'm fine with that. Give up Buchholz and Kelly, add in Lars Anderson, and maybe someone else, and that should do it. Adrian Gonzalez in Boston, as well as NYS, I could easily see him hitting 50 home runs, and with the lineup, driving in many more than he has.
  3. Yeah, he is, but they put up similar numbers. Juan Pierre is better than Podsednik, yes, because he's a consistent .300/.350/.370 guy. However, Podsednik just plain old sucks. He used to be able to give you decent ability to get on base, and he could steal bases like crazy. Now, he's lost his base-stealing edge, and has struggled to get on base up until this year. Although, this year, he was better than Pierre.
  4. Eh, the topic's deleted, the one that you started with the racist s***, but I dunno. Not up to me. I think we can have a civilized discussion from here on.
  5. Yeah, but you can't hold it against people when you join up with your name, and then your first handful of posts are basically retardation in text format.
  6. What happened was this guy came in with the intention of trolling, proof is in his name. Threw some racial slurs around, and wasn't banned. He changed his attitude, and is now arguing legitimately. Whether this board wants to keep him around is up to them, but his argument is legit, and he seems to be on good behavior.
  7. Because they wanted to publicly embarrass the NBA.
  8. He's not as good as he's been, and the player with his set of skills traditionally doesn't age very well.
  9. Big if, but you're right. Holliday is an ideal 3rd hitter.
  10. Depends on inning and score, too.
  11. You're absolutely right, but acknowledging that is very key. It leads to misinterpretations.
  12. It definitely does have a tremendous effect, but bsox actually said it in another thread, that if Albert Pujols and Ryan Howard switched places (teams), that Pujols' numbers would skyrocket, while Howard's while sink tremendously. I think you must be misinterpreting what he's said.
  13. Of course they would. Just as Gonzalez would product at any park, as would Albert Pujols. I'm a firm believer that Youkilis is 3rd hole worthy, and if we land Gonzalez, he should be our primary 3rd hitter. However, Gonzalez is the more productive hitter overall, and in Boston, I could see him hitting closer to 50 home runs, and of course, his OBP would also go up. People forget that Youkilis actually had a higher OPS than Tex did in New York (He's always considered VASTLY superior to Youk, but he sure as s*** isn't). Youk is a very productive hitter, there's no question to that.
  14. I've always stated that a lineup has an effect, but you've stated, if I can find the quote in a sec I will, that park has no effect on that whatsoever. Make your points more clearly.
  15. Did you see the spray chart that showed that about 15 fly outs as Petco would have been homers in Fenway? Not to mention, more at Yankee Stadium?
  16. That's not the point. You're trying to compare him to Kevin Youkilis, which is completely incorrect. Call yourself an undereducated trolling little kid and come out of your mother's basement.
  17. Lol, are you kidding me? ROFL, Youk already plays at Fenway, champ.
  18. "wut r u crayzee d00d howz dat wurk?!?!?!1/1/1//111/1?!1583 HURRR"
