  1. How about Tug Hullet?
  2. I know that ERA isn't the most valid stat to compare pitchers, but in the end, it's what really matters, and Vasquez will have an ERA around 4.50 this season. Jacko, any others, you can quote this.
  3. Yes, she wants to talk to no one.
  4. Instant Messenger is your friend!
  5. Iverson has quickness beyond anything that Robertson had ever seen, though. Iverson has quickness beyond what anyone's really ever seen, the man can beat you just with that alone.
  6. He troubled whoever he was guarding because of his quickness and persistence to get the ball. He wasn't Bruce Bowen defender, but he was persistent.
  7. Can't believe I'm saying this, but yeah, I agree with you.
  8. Spud, I respectfully have to disagree. AI NOT a lockdown defender? And put him up against Oscar Robertson? They played in different eras. Players have advanced since Oscar Robertson. Also, Iverson was always the only guy on his team. He was the guy who scored all of the points. That's how he was best utilized. If a guy's a great scorer, you let him to the load of the scoring, which is exactly what he did. See what happened when he was in Denver? It didn't work out very well.
  9. He has. He was a talent-and-a-half. He could really play, and he played the came at a high level of intensity. Most people attack his work ethic because of the whole "practice" thing, but he really did play as hard as he could at all times. He CARRIED the 6'ers to the Finals, and against the Lakers. He simply wasn't enough to overcome Bryant, Shaq and co.
  10. Well, regardless of what people see AI as, he's a great competitor, who works hard on the court. He was relentless, there's a reason why he was always near the top in steals and scoring. He was a lockdown defender and of course we all know a great scorer. He was a household name in his prime. He's one of the guys we all know.
  11. Kotchman at first full time... The idea, it just scares me.
  12. I think I've probably busted your chops before.
  13. That's because it's adapted
  14. Not hating, I just like busting his chops every once in a while.
  15. This post is so full of win.
  16. Just sayin'.
  17. suns is worse.
  18. It was a really bad joke.
  19. Don't mind suns, he's patented the buzz-killingly bad joke.
  20. Just imagine Japan and India. India and their, like... Over 1 Billion people in a landmass that small.
  21. I believe one of the highest pop/sq. mile IIRC. High population is not attractive, though. Minnesota is huge, and has just an average population, with most of it condensed into the Twin Cities. I dislike the cities, because it's just packed. I can't imagine how states like New Jersey, Rhode Island, and Mass. are.
  22. Then again, is there really such thing as NE in New Jersey? It's a pretty small state.
  23. I just think the players need work. Seriously, it seems like there are no guys who you root for anymore, not the guys who everyone knows anymore. There used to be Jordan, Barkley, Ewing, Robinson, Olajuwon, Magic, Bird, etc etc etc... A lot of guys who everyone knows, now, there's what? Kobe, LeBron.... KG? TD? Allen Iverson was one. Who else is there though? I don't know, it just seemed like the talent was spread out more too. As great as the Chicago Bulls were in the 90's, they always had fights from the Knicks, Pacers, Pistons, and with whoever they played in the Finals. The game was just better, for a lot of reasons.
