  1. not anymore, game over. FML.
  2. If we pull this one out I may cry heterosexual tears of joy.
  3. OH MY GOD!!! I hope like hell we pull this one out, that would be SWWWEEEEEET!!!! we are still a ways from that happening though.
  4. 19 but either way I lied.
  5. this hurts to watch...but (and I know it sounds retarded) but their is still half a game to play and after 19 years in this world, I believe in miracles. EDIT:apparently Im so retarded I forgot my own age.
  6. god I hope so, if for no other reason than to end this game respectfully.
  7. its a shame, as a Texas fan I didn't go into this game with a whole lot of hope but all I really wanted was for Colt to go out and be able to play the game of his life and give Texas a chance, but now Colt McCoy isn't even getting to play in the most important game of his career, and to all the SEC fans who liked to say that Colt McCoy is a pussy, Ill have you know that McCoy got absolutely destroyed his Freshman and Sophmore years with extremely weak O-lines, McCoy has been hit and hit hard, that was just some bad luck on a hit straight to Colts shoulder, I really feel bad for Colt and Shipley, they deserve to have that last game, but such is life, and these things happen.
  8. very true, it just seems to me we have plenty of youngsters who are atleast ready to see a little bit of big league time, like Tazawa did last year, but it wouldn't hurt to have a little more "veteran" depth behind the rotation, its always nice to have competent spot starters, it helps to win the games that no one expects to win.
  9. do we need depth signings there with Wake and Bowden both waiting to spot start if needed?
  10. Sportcenter still comes on in MS, its right after the lawnmower races on ESPN .
  11. I think in some ways its more difficult to be good for a long time than it is to be amazing for 4-5 years, IMO Blyleven was great for a long time and personally I think thats good enough, Longevity is what makes some people great and Blyleven managed to stay great over a long period of time with real s***** teams, I personally think his achievments are good enough, and when I take my kid to the HOF and he asks "Wasn't Bert Blyleven awesome?" Ill say "yes Deuce, yes he was, anyone who can be that much of a work horse and maintain such a level of consistency is amazing, especially when they manage to have a 3.31 ERA over a 22 year career."
  12. seriously? first of all that post is crap, second of all maybe you should keep your condecending yankee troll comments to yourself if thats really what you believe.
  13. we need an Australian on the team, they always look like a gritty yet happy people, perfect for boston, are there any good Catchers down under?
  14. happens to the best of us.
  15. I don't see what leg those people have to stand on anyways, most racists that hate black people, hate them because of their color so it doesnt matter if they are american, candadian, dominican, columbian, etc etc.
  16. I know he will, I just have always liked 2nd basemen being that that's where I played back in Little league and and Alomar was one of my favorites.
  17. To me this is ********, Alomar was one of the best, I don't see how he can not be a first ballot HOFer.
  18. I think he will he's done excellent so far in just about every aspect of the game, his biggest problem will be adding talent to the club every year as the stars leave for the draft but everyone has that problem.
  19. we had alot of guys with decent speed OBP and Defense but no real sluggers, Auggie was trying to play moneyball but we were too inconsistent
  20. Renfroe Excites me, what does everyone else think about him?
  21. call me crazy but I actually like the idea of having a backup C that can throw out runners if we needed him to, and actually play D above average.
  22. just the thought made me jizz in my pants.
