    Like a700, I never had the privilege to see Ted Williams play. I agree Pujols is a beast. And he can DH in the AL so that may extend his career. Although I don't see him being nearly as productive as he approaches the end of his contract.

    Well, I used to hang out with Johnny Most at Celtic home games in the early seventies. He was so much fun! During commercial breaks he would just turn around and chat with me. He even let me smoke his English Ovals cigarettes! As for baseball, I am a homer! I like Don and Jerry. They just make the game so much more complete with their humor and self deprecation. I find them very entertaining and baseball is entertainment for me.

    Oh, I had a pleasant phone conversation with a financial CSR this morning. He grew up in New York (a Yankee fan) and lives in Philadelphia I told him I am rooting for the Yankees to kick the Phillie's asses in the World Series. I don't hate the Yankees. I just want my team (the Sox) to beat them.

    This is a dumb question. Just because the Yankees draw on the road does not mean that people in those cities like them. They simply recognize that the Yankees are one of the best teams in baseball and they desire to see good baseball. Jesus.
