    The fact is Pedroia was a bag of scar tissue before the bad slide impact. He ain't no spring chicken, either. MVP was right 2 years ago but the adoration of the fans has blinded them to the obvious. I have really enjoyed watching him play but I have moved on.

    I have been saying similar things since the end of last season. But "If anyone can do it Pedey can" seems to be the rally call around here. Put sentiment aside and consider we have seen the last of good Pedroia. Sox need to find a starting quality second baseman very soon.

    Cash is a legend. My Mom met him at Heathrow airport many years ago. He walked right up to her and said Hiiiiiiah. My mom was in her late 50s or so but looked more like 35. He was dressed entirely in black including his cowboy hat. My Mom is not easily impressed by much but she lights up telling that story. Of course I may have just made this story up. You never know. You better check BBR to be sure.
