    The Sox have ready to order replacements for both Nap and Ortiz. Sandoval could be sent to 1st and Hanley could be the new DH. Who else in the system could or should be considered?

    I recognize that the Yankees have done well so far and I have no reason to doubt that they can take the division. Toronto is getting hot and who knows when the Os will gain traction? I just see the Sox sinking further down especially if or when a division rival goes on a tear.

    The Sox continue to bury themselves below .500 and in the cellar. The Yankees are somewhat of a surprise and now are on a 7 game roll. What happens when an AL East team catches fire and distances itself from the Sox? Maybe it will be the Yankess but it won't matter. This season is rapidly becoming a total disaster.

    Not to hijack the thread but when I graduated from high school my class voted to have Moe Howard as the commencement speaker. We ended up with Senator Brooke instead. Bummer.

    I was just commenting on the Three Stooges. I did like All of then other than Curly Joe. I was not looking to become mired in this fight. Although now I see posting my preference did just that.

    Most of us were at least scratching our heads over the Sox grabbing him. I admit that I knew almost nothing about him even though I have seen at least several games where he faced the Sox. He has done nothing but make plays and hit since he was acquired. I say give credit where credit is due. To De Aza for making the most of his opportunity as the new guy and to Cherrington and staff for bringing him in. Sometimes dumpster diving can be productive. I look forward to seeing him play.

    I'm all over Buch for the most part. However, there is now way to ignore that he has been pretty good for a while. Even pitchers that consistently perform well will throw up an occasional stinker. Today it was his turn. No excuse for the bats to be so silent.

    Nice play by Nap. I think Nap's ability to field less than ideal throws is under appreciated by Sox fans. Bad luck for Holt.
