    I do not want to see Mookie or JD involved in this stupidity. I do find it somewhat entertaining. I just don't want Sox players involved in it. No need for them to do so.

    I did not consult stats to make my post. Big surprise there! I just see limited lateral range with my eyes. And the fact that Dever's body is similar to Patrick's in Sponge Bob concerns me somewhat.

    I always recommend two places close to Fenway on Beacon Street and right on the Green Line T ( Boston College, Beacon Circle line ). Out near Temple street on Beacon Street there is a motel. It has been a Travel Lodge and a Holiday Inn Express. Not sure what it is now. You can hop on the T and be at Fenway or Kenmore square in five minutes. There is an excellent Mexican restaurant on Beacon near the corner of Park Drive. This is authentic Mexican and the food will make your tongue hard.

    I don't remember but it would seem likely. He was a dick. One of my buddies here has spoken to him on the phone and in PMs. Apparently he can be nice guy. I never saw this.

    I like to think that I have seen some improvement in his D this year. I expect that he will become a solid 3rd baseman. Not real sure of his range.

    Maybe because he is still and very good athlete and has shown promise at the plate and blazing speed on the base paths. Maybe because he has had his career derailed through no fault of his own.

    a700 was spot on about Duda. He sucks. Glad we signed Moreland.

    I do have a soft spot for him. But I don't have a boner. I do not think he has a future at catcher with the Sox unless he rakes or one of the two starters sustains a significant injury and is out a long time.

    Your recollection is faulty. He was called up way too early out of need. While he had problems with blocking balls and his hitting was weak early in the season, his hitting caught on. I think he was above league average. I think his blocking skills are better. Clearly he needs to show that he can play without hurting the team. I think that he will.

    LOL. Exactly. People lose sight of the fact the baseball is entertainment. So I am cool with all the stuff you mentioned. I do remain in expectation that the product I pay to watch will be uniformly high quality and tasteful. I'm down with advertising weed on uniforms. Time to mash another bud. Later.

    Hmm. I suppose we are grateful for that. In any case, it has been a pretty strict rule on Talksox for over ten years that we do not speak about other baseball forums. There are several good reasons for this policy. I am a little surprised that so much talk of the glory days somewhere else has been allowed up to now.
