  1. And I bet she would still be hot as f***.
  2. I'd offer him 5/175. If he balks at that then f*** him. As long as he does not end up in NY.
  3. It won't happen but it sure would be nice to see before Remy leaves us. The cool thing is that Don landed in a really "cool" spot. Foxsports San Diego posts a lot of Padres content on Facebook. So about 4-5 times each week I get so see and hear clips of Dons calls. He has not changed. That voice is like going home and I miss having a robust and steady diet of his game calling. The guys he shares the booth with are willing co-conspirators in sophomoric humor during each game. It's really funny s*** if you get to see. Sometimes I watch Padres games on line as I work around the house. Just having Dons voice to listen to is enjoyable.
  4. I am not super interested in this topic but I have noted how umpire gear has changed over the years. They no longer have that big pad they hold up in front of them. I think it's kind of odd that most MLB umps look out of shape compared to officials that work in other major sports.
  5. I thought it was funny. Now I am thinking of Natalie Wood.
  6. Did you forget to take your Lithium today or something?
  7. Not a f***ing chance would I do that deal.
  8. Well anyone can point to defensive metrics and can conclude that he is a clod out there. But that is not what I have seen. I can not comment with any voracity on his reads and breaks. I never really get to see those much. But he is playing hard. He digs it for balls and makes strong throws in. He does not have the speed that we are used to seeing but that does not mean he is not athletic. And another thing, he runs hard to 1st base. That says something to me, anyway.
  9. All valid points to ponder. Especially the last one.
  10. "I feel your pain".
  11. He plays 2nd as well as of and 1st according to BBR. I don't think he was acquired to play 2nd.
  12. Lol. Okay. I will now watch very closely to see anything of either of those guys. I like this comment. Not at all sure it is accurate. But I like it.
  13. The rain just let up a little here in the Land Of NA. I don't know if it had been raining at Fenway all day but if it had been and it has now let up that gives the field crew about 4 hours to prepare the field for a game. Not sure about practice. My guess is there will be a delay or postponement.

  15. I endorse this post. I think reliever and spot starting help can be had from AAA and AA. Second base is not ideal . But the Sox can live with the combo of Holt - Nunez. Our bench is weak after that as Swi has not shown much. Not that it is entirely his fault with such limited playing time. Catcher remains a strength. Especially now that both Vasquez and Leon appear to be getting better wood on the ball. If anything, the Yankees have a weakness at catcher. Especially now with Sanchez out. Looks like the Yankees will have to resort to a glove first type behind the plate. Which, ironically, is a defensive upgrade at the position. Still a long way to go this season. Health will likely be a determining factor in this race.
  16. It has been raining steadily all day here. I have not seen a forecast as yet but I suspect tonight's game will be postponed.
  17. "I Christen thee Flying Wasp". "You sunk my Yacht". "You scratched my anchor".
  18. I was very opposed to it because he had only flirted with being dominant and the rest of the time he sucked big green donkey dicks. To me, there was no reason evident to suggest that he would be effective enough to warrant the additional money for a player that played to his level. I figured he was going to continue to suck more than to pitch well and that is what happened.
  19. Yup. The World Series Chanpionships have quieted those feelings in me to only an extent. I have been conditioned by way too many years of failure or just coming up short.
  20. Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!1!1!! Excellent f***ing post.
  21. Yup. I am with you on this.
  22. What? Please explain how Buch returned rewards exceeding his cost. He sucked donkey dick most of those years.
  23. I figured you were a tosser.
  24. I hope Bogey is not hurt.
