  1. Except he misspelled one. It's Shorer, not Shore.
  2. Moncada has not seen MLB pitching. Who is to say he will hit like Benintendi? What if he comes up and hits more like Castillo? I say bring him up if he is ready but keep Hill for the duration and hope that Shorer continues his resurrection at the plate.
  3. Kimmi is a math teacher.
  4. I'm not a true Farrell basher but I certainly see what you see.
  5. That would be a start. Paying at least minimum wage would be good too.
  6. Right down to just above his knee.
  7. Lovely. Of course this reminds me of a young Spud story. Reggie Smith was playing center field for the Sox and I was sitting behind the visitor's pen in the front of the bleachers. In the middle of the game Smith was moved over to right field directly in front of me. He leaned over and put his hands on his knees as the pitcher went into his wind-up. On display was a huge dong dressed down his right pant leg. Either that or he was carrying a cucumber around with him.
  8. The big dick will prevail tonight. All hail The Big Dick!!!!
  9. It is enlightening. I am very glad that you liked it.
  10. Give'em hell Gramps!!1!!
  11. But the team makes a s*** ton of money in any case.
  12. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/nationals/the-minor-leagues-life-in-pro-baseballs-shadowy-corner/2016/08/26/96ab542e-6a07-11e6-ba32-5a4bf5aad4fa_story.html I found this article today. Pretty interesting how Baseball continues to skirt labor law and exploit young men with a dream.
  13. Oh. In thinking about this massive thread of Swihart doubt, what were we all saying the rest of the season when he started to hit? Overall, I don't remember vast numbers of people bitching about his D. I'm a Swihart fanboy, I guess. I wish things had been different for him. He could have used a solid season in Pawtucket before coming up. As it was, he came up in an emergency. After a slow start he seemed to be doing well. Now one of the best prospects in the system has no defined roll going forward.
  14. What? How am I evolved in this old thread?
  15. I think you are exaggerating. No one seemed to complain last year.
  16. Swihart has a hit tool that neither of the other two will likely ever have and he has speed ( or did have speed ). I would be reluctant to trade him away.
  17. Good point. And Jacko I guess it is correct in saying that the Yankees stand a better chance of beating the Sox in one game as apposed to an entire series. There is no way the Yankees are built better than the Sox in any way. Not that the Sox are a Juggernaut. But come on.
  18. I think the Sox can hit Tanaka. If the Sox have a late lead Betances may be moot.
  19. This is why I really want the Sox to take first place.
  20. He is busy invading a country.
  21. E-Rod needs to put his foot down and humiliate theses twats. GO SOX!!!1!!!
  22. I will laugh my ample ass off if the Yankees pass Baltimore and snag the second Wildcard spot.
  23. Maybe Farrell wants Buch available for the Sunday night game with a wobbly Erod taking the mound. Who knows? I think they want to bring him in as the guy who starts a clean 8th since he has no wipe out pitch and it takes a while for him to warm up in the pen. But then I'm an old f*** . What do I know?
  24. Funny how everyone thought Prices was pitching poorly then all of a sudden, boom. Quality start. MVP78 is the talksox Stopper.
