  1. So I guess it is not within the realm of possibility that Lackey could have remained productive and resigned by the Sox? Logic fail.
  2. I can understand this yet at this point I have as much or more confidence in Fister as I have for Sale or Pom. Still, this Sox team is not likely to out-hit Houston. Sad.
  3. I see #2 as valid but the other ones not things that can be attributed to the manager.
  4. Sale and Pom may not have been necessary gets if Boy Blunder had not blown up the rotation which necessitated using prospect chips to rebuild. The Lackey trade was just f***ing dumb. All we got from that move was a functional pen arm. I don't need to hear the speculation that Lackey was not going to play for the minimum in Boston. That argument is tired and without substantiation. Bennie f***ed up, plain and simple.
  5. Yeah it could just be subterfuge.
  6. And my opinion is there is no significant reason to get rid of him.
  7. Farrell is not being canned.
  8. This is a logical and fair assessment. I agree.
  9. Yeah if his knee is junk for 2018 I don't see the Sox making a push to sign him.
  10. Bolstering the starting pitching would help and will probably be something Cashman tries to do. However, the Yankees are ready to rock as it is from what I have seen.
  11. But if the talent on the roster is not all that great would these things make a big enough difference in net ( team )performance?
  12. I feel this way too.
  13. Ainge, from appearances, could shoot a basketball better that he could hit a baseball. And he could make a s*** tone more money sooner rather than later playing in the NBA.
  14. I do not see your point. Yes, less athletic people can play baseball well. Supremely athletic people may be able to play baseball well. My Point is that big guys (tall ) with the ability to run, who can move their feet quickly, and who have good hands can be good athletes. Where is the conflict in my statement? Ever hear of Tony Gonzalez?
  15. What's the matter boys? Didn't your Mother breast feed you?
  16. It seems that way. Relax. Your team belongs in the playoffs.
  17. NO NO NO NO!!!!!! Run prevention and only 100 or so less runs scored was a good enough design to win a WS. The Sox recent results are clearly just a random occurrence!!!!
  18. "It's a baby f***in' whale"
  19. And a700 is right. Almost all starting pitchers have been shelled and pulled so far. "Jay we ain't never seen this before."
  20. Holy f*** somebody give Jacko an IV ba full of Valium before he explodes. I left Braintree at 8-3 yanks and when I get home it's 8-8 in the 9th. Baseball is the balls.
  21. Hahahahahahahaha!!!1!!11!
  22. We need the entire lineup to get hot.
  23. I would have brought him in when it was 4-2 and let him go 2 innings. Maybe Farrell wants to bring him in with a lead or something? I have no idea what the two neurons were thinking. Farrell knows more than I do but why not use one of your weapons when the game is on the line? Whatever.
