  1. I feel like I should start downloading a porno now just in case the Sox make some really good picks in a few hours.
  2. The Cubs have been linked to a Cuban lefty Onelki Garcia Speck, who was rated as a sandwich round talent, so if more teams keep reaching then a better pick will fall to us. I hope this rumour is true as well as the ones about San Diego and Milwaukee.
  3. I've heard rumours about Milwaukee and San Diego going with safe picks (reaches). This would increase the likelihood that one of those top pitchers (in which Gray is a part of) would reach us at 19. I personally think that the Sox take one of those pitchers that drops at 19, Bell at 26, Beede at 36, and one of those catchers at 40. Of course they have been linked to Nimmo as well, so that might be an alternative if they miss out on Bell. If we get that combination, in any order, we'd have a good job regardless of what our other picks are.
  4. Love it. Not sure if that path would lead me to being a Sox fan though.
  5. Hey. Welcome!!!
  6. Ouch, I'm insulted by your last comment.
  7. Put Pedroia behind the plate!!!!
  8. For the record I thought you were Emmz. And in my defense, A700 can vouch for me that I've made comments about his daughter too. lol
  9. I wouldn't waste my time debating lineup moves that make sense, because you know Tito will never implement them.
  10. Thankfully, that's one of the few problems I don't have to worry about in life.
  11. What's funny is that I think that 7 runs is also the usual cutoff in MLB The Show before the computer manager pulls its starter.
  12. Plus there was a whole lot of argument back and forth about Dice-K's training regiments vs. the training and conditioning customs that the Red Sox (and other teams) have implemented. One could argue that those discrepancies (along with Dice-K's stubbornness and the difference in scheduling of Japanese baseball vs. American baseball) and this situation might be less of a surprise.
  13. Damn, 2-0 vs. 1-1 makes a huge difference. Nice choke Miami.
  14. Fans who post oversimplistic one-liners and then say "/thread" to try act like their post is so good that it ends any further discussion. /thread PS: Haha just kidding dude.
  15. What's interesting is that as of right now, Salty has a higher OPS than Miguel Olivo.
  16. He has electric stuff. I loved his stuff, but I was afraid of his lack of established success (in the majors) and his tendency to be wild, otherwise I would have drafted him for my team.
  17. I'd throw a party if the Sox saved money on Dice-K's contract. We could really use it on our upcoming draft picks.
  18. What's scarier is that the Red Sox have lost 7 straight to the White Sox at home I believe. It's not like the White Sox teams are even that good at this point. We're often beating ourselves, although today the umpires get an assist in the loss.
  19. God damn it, I really wanted Wakefield to get the win. Damn umps and damn the baseball gods. Now we just need to get the win period.
  20. 1 down 3 to go.
  21. If it wasn't for LeBron going to Miami the way he did, I would have no problem rooting for the Heat in this series. That said, I'm still rooting for Miami because I'm a Spurs fan and I want to stick it to the Mavs again, plus the added hatred of a Mavs fan I know (or thought I knew/used to know) pushes it above my hatred of LeBron. I'd be much happier if the stadium collapsed entirely, but barring that I'd have to go for Miami, or if nothing else, rooting for Dallas to lose the series.
