I figured that Moss would have been worth more than a 3rd rounder. In any case, they might just be earning a better draft positions themselves by forcing themselves to lose more games because of this trade. I think it's a horrible short term move, but it might be a reasonable long term one, considering the potential troubles in signing Moss long term, and the ability to find good players in the draft. Let's just hope that one of them is a good defensive player.
