    I struggled with the Marcum pick. I really wanted someone else, but I didn't think it was wise to go after that position yet, and that with so many people going after starters, I figured that by going after ANOTHER really cheap but good starter should help me spend more money in some other areas later in the draft. As for Beltre, I felt that I was being sneaky for a bit because Cot's doesn't list players that haven't signed yet, so I don't think it listed Beltre at all, so I figured that people forgot about him. I'm taking a bit of a risk depending on where he signs, but to be honest, I chose Beltre more because of his outstanding defense (and I have some groundball pitchers) than because of his offense. I definitely overpaid, but I had the money to spend and if he has a decent offensive season along with his defense then it'd work out. Please Texas, go and sign Beltre!!

    Just pick the player and worry about the salary later. He's obviously really cheap so it shouldn't make a big difference either way.

    Flynnatic didn't make his pick yet? Oh well, I guess I don't feel bad then for sleeping in. I think I have a little more than an hour left before I can skip him and make my picks anyway.

    I don't know man, going out of your way to throw a700 under the bus and constantly remind him that he's wrong (which may or may not be the case) seems like a combination of trolling and/or picking a fight. While I support your research to the fact that a700 indeed isn't right all of the time, the fact that you continually brought his name up into situations that a700 wasn't involved in pretty much guarantees that you're looking for a fight. Not to mention your general MO as a poster here. You're a fighter. I'm a fighter, A700 is a fighter, nearly half of this site can be considered fighters. We all know that you were/are looking for a fight.

    Yeah, I think that Flynnatic has until 12:52pm tomorrow to make his pick before I could skip him.

    I'd imagine that if Flynnatic was skipped, that when I made my picks he'd be skipped again. That said, it'd be well into tomorrow before Flynnatic gets skipped, and at that point it's likely that he'd make his pick anyway.

    That'd be tough against a better Red Sox lineup, and with a weaker Rays lineup to support him. One could also make the argument that the Rays bullpen is getting worse too and could hurt him. In any case, is Jbay online? It's his pick.

    I like Rickie Weeks too. He isn't the most talented or the best 2B, but considering who was available, and considering how much money Y228 spent on his pitching, Rickie Weeks at 2.75 million is a bargain.

    In all fairness, he could put one of them in left, although it might have it's defensive reprecussions. Or, that could be good trade bait for someone later on.

    One of my parents is American and the other is English. I tend to go back and forth a lot. I'd also rather get my career started here due to lower living expenses etc.
