  1. I'm not mad. I just like ripping on a700 for being old. I do the same to Spudboy, and a700 rips on me all of the time. It's no different than ripping on Dipre because he's brown, or ripping on me because I'm whipped.
  2. I bet that old man is probably pretty tuckered out after celebrating New Years, who knows if we'll see him again tonight.
  3. I hope that JE didn't go too far away.
  4. Although Jacoby Ellsbury should be here making his dang pick, I can see why he wouldn't have thought that his pick would come up considering how slowly the draft was going this morning. I didn't think that we'd have made it this far either. And I bet that Jacoby Ellsbury will be on some time tonight to make his pick, so not all is lost.
  5. You guys can trade draft picks now. Still no trading partial salaries and no getting involved in trades that don't involve you, but you can trade future draft picks.
  6. Fine, since I am the one you has to deal with this the most, Dipre has allowed me to grant you guys the ability to trade future draft picks. Just don't go too wild with this (I'm looking at you Y228) because it is a pain in the a** to keep track of. There will be an opportunity to chime in one trades ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN AGREED TO. And they will be able to be vetoed if they are very lopsided. DO NOT, and I repeat, DO NOT try and get a trade vetoed just because someone "wins" or "loses", trades will only be vetoed if they are incredibly lopsided. Keep in mind salary implications and not just talent when you guys are evaluating a deal. I'm still not allowing partial salaries with trades. So the salary has to all go with the player. To your point Flynnatic, you'd trade away players to get under cap, you shouldn't be trading for a player who has a big salary if you're close to the cap.
  7. Keep in mind guys that this is a work in progress compared to other redrafts, so we're ironing out issues as they come across. It isn't going to be run perfectly, but I think we've done a very good job improving upon previous redrafts and will continue to keep people's opinions in mind when making decisions. Besides, it looks like the trade thread has REALLY increased interest in this thing, which may very well keep people making picks at a very good pace. Speaking of which, where the f*** is Jacoby Ellsbury?
  8. On another note, don't be a d*** to anyone and try and f*** up their trades. If the trade doesn't involve you, then don't get involved in it. On the other side of the coin, if you really want people to stay out of it, then communicate/negotiate the trades via PM and then post here once you've agreed upon a deal.
  9. Dipre feels a lot stronger about this than I do. If you feel that strongly about trading future picks, let Dipre know. However that is a pain in the a** to manage.
  10. Bulls***, we weren't able to trade draft picks in any of the last 3 drafts we did, and you were in all of them. Heck, this is the only redraft we've done (that I've been a part of) where we could trade during the middle of the redraft and not have to wait until the end.
  11. The corresponding salaries should be enough of a balance. Besides, if you really want to trade picks, you could have the other person tell you which player to pick at that situation and then trade those players. The only difference is that you'd have to trust the other person not to screw you over and back out of the deal if someone was taken in the interim.
  12. Keep in mind that one can't trade draft picks. You can trade the players drafted with those picks (ie trade draft rights), but you can't trade the draft picks themselves.
  13. That'd be more J-EEzy or Jacobizzle Ellzzburrizzle
  14. And it also helps people who are ranging from frustrated to suicidal over losing someone that they really wanted. It'll keep things interesting and work to help people out if they made a bad pick or really wanted a particular player on their roster. Anyway, JEasy is up again. Good progress on the picks guys.
  15. I like your offer Will and I'd strongly consider it. I'll let you know before your set of picks. I hope you let me know BEFORE you pick too.
  16. Don't worry about it. It was a reactionary comment, however I would love to explore the option down the road as well. Keep me posted.
  17. Pretty good picks all around. I was looking to take Pagan and Ichiro with my next picks, haha I'll trade you Gardner for Pagan Y228 haha.
  18. He also got caught stealing A LOT. He's a good pick, especially considering who was available (and considering salary), but there could have been better picks in my opinion.
  19. Sorry about the wait, I'm stuck downstairs having to entertain guests, but I'll take Brett Gardner OF Andrew Bailey RP Both of which are around 450k, but I'll post the exact salaries in the clubhouse thread. You're up again Flynnatic.
