  1. Not to mention that I'd still cagefight that rat bastard professor any day. And this incident was over a year ago.
  2. Forsyth, don't engage the troll. Ignore it.
  3. I hate A-rod more than I've ever hated one of my professors that completely screwed me over and gave me a bad grade and then reported me to the disciplinarian when I told him to go fornicate himself with a tire iron and that he was a parasite to society and that all of the cigars and martinis in the world couldn't be enough to placate his soul while he spends the rest of eternity burning in hell.
  4. Yeah, I'm also not a fan of Y228's new avatar, although to be honest, now that I think about it, I wasn't a fan of his old one either.
  5. Since WhiskeyBreath made his pick before 4pm, we could skip Jacoby Ellsbury if it comes to it at some point tonight. I also have Keeper's pick, so we could send it straight to Y228 I think.
  6. Damn it, so I could have waited to draft him. Grrr.
  7. Hopefully JE's sister didn't kick him off of the computer again. This is obviously way more important than anything she could possibly be doing, like chatting with me.
  8. And that's not even factoring in the fact that if some of the other Type A or Type B FA's sign with their own team instead of another team, then those picks get better.
  9. I would have tried to get Jeter in a later round (because of his payroll) but since you and Divinity were the only 2 people without SS's, that lessened my chances of getting him in another round. Especially since that I'm at the end of the rounds anyway, which means that for each time I pass him up, that gives both you and Divinity 2 chances to draft him.
  10. I figured that you were going to take Jeter. You had an opening at SS, you're a Yankee fan, and I think that you had the money. I guessed that WhiskeyBreath was going to take Luke Gregerson, and I guessed that Keeper was going to take the person that he just sent me.
  11. What I find interesting is that the person that Keeper sent me, was the person that I thought he was going to pick last round. I nailed WB's pick, got Y228's pick clearly wrong, but I think I deserve partial credit on Keeper's pick because while he didn't pick him in the last round, he did (unless JE picks him) eventually pick him.
  12. One scary thing to think about, is that if Qualls, Balfour, and Soriano sign with other teams (which should likely be the case) the Rays would have picks 24, 32, 39, 42, 43, 55, 60, 63, and 64. Damn.
  13. I don't think that JE's online yet.
  14. It looks like WB is online now. Yay!!
  15. Forsyth wanted Domonic Brown OF 400k Btw RSFFL, had I guessed your pick, I would have guessed wrong because I would have gone with the reliever that you listed first on your list.
  16. It's not a problem. I was just confused because you recently took the middle person on the list, and you had changed which reliever you wanted, and your 2nd choice was very similar to your 3rd person, so I figured that if I was going to make a mistake, I'd rather have waited too long and have you come back and make your pick, than to have made the wrong pick. Besides, I have Forsyth's pick and I still think that A700 is online (while WhiskeyBreath isn't) so I don't think that this delays anything for too long.
  17. Right now it looks like it's 3 vs. 3 with Y228, A700 and Keeper being for, with myself, Divinity, and Dipre being against.
  18. I wouldn't know how to do so if I wanted to.
  19. I hate the "slippery slope" argument because it's generally weak, but if we did that, then why wouldn't we also allow 2 for 1 trades like they do in the majors? I think that there are certain elements of realism that aren't necessarily made for a particutlar redraft. Who knows, we've come a long way in this redraft than we did in the other ones, so that could be an idea that we implement for future redrafts. I also think that it isn't necessarily fair to the other trades that occurred if we NOW implement a rule saying that we can eat salary. For all we know some of the past trades would have done so if they could.
  20. Haha I'd totally feel bad for holding this thing up if RSFFL picks the person I would have picked for him. Oh well, at least a700 is online so we can keep the ball rolling when RSFFL comes on.
  21. If you're asking whether or not people can trade after the draft, then yes. But if you're asking whether or not people can make trades that put them over the salary cap, then no. All teams would have to be under the salary cap before the power rankings and voting begin. Teams that are over cap would have to trade with someone to get under the cap.
