  1. I think that Flynnatic and Divinity are the only 2 with makeup picks left.
  2. Yeah, I took Dejesus a while ago.
  3. It doesn't look like Jacoby Ellsbury has been online today. I happen to have Keeper's pick though.
  4. Some people are even using starters as a LR guy. It isn't THAT important, but it's definitely something I factor in when doing rankings/voting.
  5. He does, but Johan Santana is injured and will be out for a while, so instead of dropping him and picking up another starter (which Dipre and I allowed him to do at the end of the draft) he said he'd rather have 3 bench spots and get another starter that way. I figured it as ok.
  6. McCutchen was the one that I wanted the most, but I could have used Shin Soo Choo as well.
  7. I don't know really, just get it done once the draft is finished.
  8. For the record, it's Forsyth's turn.
  9. I think I already skipped you, but Forsyth isn't online.
  10. Also, for reasons like these, I think that every team should have their lineups set (vs. RHP and vs. LHP) and their bullpens set (LRP, MRP, SU, CL) before the power rankings are done.
  11. In all fairness I said that the Pineiro pick was slightly better than the Cecil and Kennedy picks, and some of what you said was the reason.
  12. For the record, if Pineiro, Cecil, or Kennedy actually log in long relief time this season, then I will happily withdraw any concerns I had when they were drafted.
  13. As for the Pineiro = long reliever pick, I think it's slightly better than the Cecil and Kennedy selections since Pineiro actually was a long reliever back in 2006-2007 (his horrible numbers aside), however I think it rehashes the point that Keeper and I were trying to make.
  14. As far as makeup picks are concerned: Will 1 Divinity 2 Ytrb 2 WhiskeyBreath 1 Flynnatic 1 and technically RSFFL may have one, or it's his turn, either way he can make his pick when he logs on.
  15. That would make it RSFFL's turn. Unfortunately I only had his pick for the last round. I know what position he's going for, but I don't know his pick. Considering that I'm likely (or at least should be) the only one drafting from that position, I think that he'd be ok with us skipping him if need be. That would make it Forsyth's turn.
  16. Go for it. Since I know your pick, I'll just make Dipre's pick even though it's technically out of order. Joel Piniero SP 8 million
  17. Will wanted RA Dickey SP/RP 600k
  18. Yep, I have Will's picks, I was out at lunch. Unfortunately, one of his picks was taken, he said that we can skip him if that is the case, so I'll make Will's one pick, skip his 2nd pick, skip Divinity's pick, skip Ytrb's pick, make your pick, make Dipre's pick, and make RSFFL's pick, and then it'll be Forsyth's turn.
  19. Since Ytrb said that we could skip him, that means it's Divinity's turn.
  20. Dipre wants Jose Tabata OF and Exman wants Justin Smoak 1B
  21. I understand your point, however I have always hated the NCAA rules on recruiting and the way the NCAA "handles" violations, and in the scheme of things, I don't really consider it cheating. For the record, I also think that Reggie Bush should still have his Heisman and that the Ohio State players shouldn't be suspended at all, but when it comes to cheating, I'd take that sort of thing over steroids, videotaping the opposing team's practices, since this kind of cheating doesn't actually effect anything other than giving the NCAA the chance to overstep its bounds, piss people off, and make players want to enter the draft early so they can deal with the slightly more rational NFL/NBA commissioners.
