That's the lineup I've been hoping to see consistently for some time now, with the exception of Ortiz not being there and Scutaro starting at SS. Right now, Drew is getting on base pretty well and he's always been solid as a leadoff guy.
Keeping Crawford in one spot (7th) will help him get out of his slump IMO and having Ells hit 9th gives us a guy that should be able to turnover the lineup and get it back to the top with at least one guy on base. Now if we can just get Clay to man up and pitch like he's capable of, we'll be in great shape.
Jesus f***ing Christ... you'd think throwing the ball with some measure of accuracy would be pre-requisite for playing catcher at the big league level.
Whatever. I really don't give a f*** anymore.
And it wasn't the interpretation of the rule I had a problem with... it was the timing really. The ump never clearly signaled interference... only happened after the 2nd base twat appealed to him after Jacoby was already safe. Looked like he was hoping to find some reason to call Ells out.
Had the same thought earlier when I was trying to kill time before the game. Never seen them before... got some kid running the show that doesn't know dick about catching crabs
I don't buy it... Cam strikes out and steps out across the plate doing so. Wasn't a clear attempt to interfere. Ump never called interference until the 2nd base douchebag asked him to think about it for a few minutes, afterwhich he calls it. f*** these umps suck ass.
