Didn't the win projection INCLUDE the questions about Sale's health? This rotation stunk last season and were close enough to .500. They'll probably be around there this season too unless more shoes drop.

Probably the best the pitching has looked in about a decade. When ERod was the #1 prospect, there were a few intriguing arms in the system.

If they had fired him after last season I would have agreed with it. I don't know if Henry will fire him or not. If I was the owner of the Sox it would definitely be run differently.

I have never said he's done a great job. It's been a mixed bag. I'd grade him out at a C+ if you include the farm. If you are just looking at the MLB roster it's a D+ for doormat.

You are most definitely NOT hung up on RESULTS. OPS by month: April 576 May 766 June 848 821 OPS since 5/3. He's been a good hitter for almost 2 months now. Your "eye test" is just stuck in a box score from 1983.

@RotoClegg Sometimes it doesn't take much to know a pitcher has it. Yordanny Monegro has it! FB sitting around 95, up to 97. CB with massive drop from a 12-6 shape sitting 78-80 Mixes in a change in the upper 80s, even threw a slider. 4 IP/2 H/0 ER/0 BB/8 K today

Pitching is very hit or miss in the DSL. Hard to get excited over a small sample size, especially one game.

We don't know what the Red Sox' drafting board looked like. Yorke and Romero could have been the best picks available at the time. Also, there are advantages to going underslot in the first round to spread the money throughout the draft.

I mean, he traded Josh Taylor for Adalberto Mondesi. Taylor 2023: 17.2 Inn, 8.15 ERA, 409 BABIP, xERA 4.93, career high exit velo, career high barrel rate, 0.0 fWAR Adalberto: DNR Seems like a fair trade so far on the floor of both guys.
