    Orioles sold at last year's deadline when they should have added. That they have stood still is a plus! Sox and Yanks probably should sell IMO. Teams ahead of them have bought too much. Prices are high. @redsoxstats Robert Murray says there continues to be a lot of interest in Duvall, it's possible teams could pivot to Paxton and offer a package they can't refuse, and he's heard Bloom has been creative in trade talks.

    In regards to Turner at 2b, it's not about simply defense. It's also about his age and health. Cora wants to take it easy on Turner and is worried that one wrong double play turn will take a huge cog out of the batting order. Turner is seen as a good fill in here and there, but won't be at 2b everyday.

    I'd keep Chang over Arroyo or Reyes. His glove is so good that it outweighs his horrible bat. Jacques' bad night last night is due to him not being a very good pitcher.

    @SoxProspects Stanley Tucker, the Red Sox 19th round pick in the 2023 draft, is playing center field and leading off for the FCL Red Sox today marking him as the first member of this year's draft class to get in the lineup.

    1. Whitlock and Houck won't be ready until September. Sale will not look like he did earlier in the year. Why not upgrade cheaply if you can? 2. Duvall isn't sticking around. If you can deal him, it makes sense to get something for him. 3. Turner is a bad 2b right now. You can't have him out there everyday. Reyes should be DFA'd when Story returns. 4. Ok? 5. I thought you put Houck and Whitlock in #1? They don't have any internal options in AAA. If they want to add for August, it needs to come via trade.

    They are going to try to get in, but it will be with a group that looks like the one that is currently on the field. Story, Sale, Whitlock and Houck will be the major MLB additions.

    Because the number of sellers is low, the Sox could take advantage and sell some of their assets for decent value. Their playoff odds are pretty low at 25%.

    His barrel % is fine. His BABIP is lower than normal in part to hitting more flyballs. Is he trying to hit more dingers to justify the contract?
