    Matt Dermody?

The thing with Blaze is that he'll be 21 this year. He's very young as he was drafted as a 17 year old. He still has time to develop the monster power people anticipated. Best fit for him going forward may be LF though. He had an 899 OPS vs LHP in AA. I'm not super high on him, but he still has a ceiling he can get to.

Trade Duran for prospects maybe? I’d consider it.
  4. mvp 78
I agree that SD has no SP. They aren’t trading MLB SP for Duran.
  5. mvp 78
    The control overinflated his value.

Gets hit hard. 33rd percentile xERA. 8th Hard Hit%. 27th xSLG. His Statcast is as blue as papa smurf.

Jacques has the better GB rate. Would be unbelievable to DFA him for Montgomery or Snell!
  8. mvp 78
    Woweee!
  9. mvp 78
That trade sucks. You're trading at top 10 prospect, plus your two best starting pitching prospects to get a guy with #2 ceiling?
  10. mvp 78
Can't give up on Jacques. Excellent Barrel %!

BTV accepts: Jansen for Castellanos Strahm 40M

@ArcainiLuke David Vassegh said the Phillies are in “active talks” with the Red Sox regarding Kenley Jansen, via his podcast. Kenley Jansen makes $16M per year. The Phillies should consider trading Taijuan Walker to the Red Sox and then go sign one of Blake Snell/Jordan Montgomery.

He's that RHB OFer we've been waiting for!

@MacCerullo The Red Sox have announced their complete broadcast schedule for spring training, which won't include as many televised games as last year. https://www.bostonherald.com/2024/02/09/red-sox-announce-spring-training-broadcast-schedule/

    Buenos tardes, amigos!

@Marino_Pepen Buenos días, mi Gente! Feliz viernes! Jordan Montgomery y los #RedSox cada vez están más cerca. La especialidad médica que hace su esposa en Boston es una de las razones fundamentales. Todos los reportes son favorables para que esta firma se realice… Seguimos, Positivo y OK. The most reliable source on the internet is stating that the Sox are getting closer to Montgomery. Let's go!!!!!!!! Full Throttle is back on!!!!!!!!!!

Dalton Guthrie has shot up the Red Sox Heat Seakers chart since Wednesday afternoon and is now about 35th out of 40.
  19. mvp 78
    Sure.
  20. mvp 78
He disappeared after leaving for college, I think. Unless he was consumed in one of the many Cuyahoga River Fires.
  21. mvp 78
    Now there's a name I haven't heard in a long time.
  22. mvp 78
I went to the current member list here and found none so I was very confused. Assumed it was some BDC bullshittery.
  23. mvp 78
That's a Mike Felger quote if I've ever heard one.
  24. mvp 78
YRod did pitch in the Central League when Yamamoto pitching in the Pacific. Those are analogous to AL and NL. It's the Eastern League and Western League that are the lower division in Japan, I believe.
