  1. I would not trade Anthony or Teel. I'd probably hold onto Cespedes as well just because his trade value is much lower than what his value could be next September. Everyone else could be available in the right trade.
  2. You really into 5.15 xFIP's now?
  3. A lot of projections have ERod coming back home to BOS. Fine?
  4. Sure if he's the 2nd pitcher acquired. He'd be fun to watch.
  5. What does this mean?
  6. I think this is overstating their relationship.
  7. Give him the contract and let him opt out. They still need a TOTR starter. Snell has a QO attachment and I don't like his profile. Montgomery doesn't have the QO, but also doesn't have ace upside. Of those three, it's gotta be Yamamoto regardless of the opt outs.
  8. It's been Mr Toad's Wild Ride. There's no doubt.
  9. Yup, like 2015/2022 bad. '23 and '15 both had about even R/RA. In '22 they gave up way more runs than what they actually scored.
  10. Power rankings of the last DAMN place teams: 2020 2012 2014 2022 2023 2015 If I had to rank 1992, it'd probably be in between 2020 and 2012.
  11. They were bad, but not 2020 bad.
  12. I think the budget is high enough, I think the specific acquisitions were what hurt the team. Replace Kluber with Eovaldi and last year's team looks much better.
  13. I don't see a difference between 4th and 5th place. Both are pretty terrible. The winning % may be a bigger indicator IMO.
  14. If it takes a month or two for Yamamoto to adjust, the season is over for that rotation. They’d need to be carried by a CY performance to be respectable.
  15. Sale - injury risk is high Houck - 5th starter Pivetta - 5th starter Crawfor - 5th starter Whitlock - injury risk
  16. 300 with opt out?
  17. Even if it’s just Yamamoto, they need to add to the rotation IMO.
  18. If it was his first TJS, I’d be much less concerned.
  19. A world class DH. The vast majority of 2x TJS guys don’t come back the same. It’s too much money to for the gamble IMO.
  20. I think Turner was fine. Get multiple DH types was a bad choice for sure.
  21. B most likely. His contract is going to be an overpay for a guy coming off his 2nd TJS.
  22. One of which is developing pitching. Another is an owner that can’t stay the course.
  23. I think he got scared by the Vaz blowback and was too indecisive to pull off a last second deal in ‘22. In ‘23, he just turtled because he wanted to stay as far away from the cap as possible and then wait for a deadline deal that he was unable to pull off.
  24. Well Turner worked out at least.
  25. Thanks to going over in ‘22 for no reason.
